While London and the south east of England might survive outside the EU the rest of Britain simply couldn't. Where do you think the money for transport, road building and most building projects in Wales comes from? Most of Wales falls into the old European Objective 1 category making it one of the poorest areas in Europe - poorer than Romania! Without european money how poor would these regions be?
As for culture and way of life are you talking as a Welshman? Because our culture and way of life has been threatened and virtually destroyed by our next door neighbour and that has nothing to do with Europe!

Actually, the London Government has consistently refused to match fund this money.

The money in Wales is match funded by the Welsh assembly which us given a budget from west Minster
