The idea however of getting younger fans (or anyone else) together who want to sing and jump around and just have a good time while they support the team sounds a good one to me.

I think older fans are worried that the heritage will be lost. It won't, it won't be loads of european styled songs, but a few sprinkled in with all the cardiff songs

We already do a few that are from Europe. For example the " We love you chant" is from St Pauli.

The way I see it, let those who want to do it do it...and if you don't want to be in it, then don't be.

It'll be great!

Ninian Park is gone, as much as my previous posts have pointed out the fact Cardiff fans have a history of fervent supporting, there is undeniably a void at the CCS that the young City fans can fill. If there is 100 fans willing to support week-in week-out it would work! Brilliant spirit in your post!! :bluebird: :bluebird: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I really believe in this idea, and have wanted to try it for years!

regarding our amazing atmosphere in years gone by, I believe that started with youngsters also, now some of those either don't attend or have moved from that part of their life, shouting and standing. Its not for everyone for ever.

I have been coming up with a few ideas on twitter and sent a few flag designs off too.

I had an idea for everyone involved to bring blue scarfs and wave them around during certain songs. Not expensive and looks good for a group just starting out. I thought, Zombie nation would be a good one to do it for, as that song has taken off with welsh football and has worked its way into our song book too. Then I found a video of Schalke 04 fans doing it in madrid. https://youtu.be/FV8pmIiKanM?t=4m2s

And for any of you who love Peter Whittingham, the fun version of his song could go something like this.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yVBJdi ... tu.be&t=6m

Vince mentioned the hardcore welsh fans who'd attend the canton for games when we were poor, they sang and sang and sang, Now, the canton is our Kop, our Yellow wall or Nordcurve for welsh game. It can be for cardiff too. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
