I know you are a Slade fan but honestly do you think he is the man to take us up , this is a manager who has NEVER won promotion in 20 odd years of management. I'm not a Slade fan but will support him , I will give him some credit in that he has stopped the rot with the mess OGS left us in . I personally think we will finish around 10th but honestly don't believe Slade is the man to take us forward

How do you define a lower league manager? He's not as he's managing a championship team.

Around 8-10th in the league but I'd like to think top 6 but I think that's just wishful thinking but not ruling that out! The reason for 8-10th guess is that we just don't look like a top 6 side at the mo - whether that is we haven't shown consistency across all games and quite frankly when your playing well you seem to get all the luck (our promotion season we just seem to win lots of games 1-0 and quite often scored in last 5 mins of games) but we haven't had much luck yet. We don't look like a side compared with previous that have pushed for playoffs/promotion. Having said that there are many positives about our side and I do believe slade is getting as much as poss from the players at present.

Same as I said before the season, top 8 - most likely 7/8th. I don't think we have the striker to take us over the finish line

Neil, At the moment in my opinion we are safe in the Championship Thanks to mainly Slade inheriting one of the best squads around. Slade eventually would put together a squad of struggling players with the excrption of course of maybe a couple of players who would stand out. The only games Slade has done well in this season is when only one of his players out of about 12 he has brought in have played with 10 players he inherited.

I honestly don't rate him as a successful Championship manager, eventually in time he will struggle, I do want him to prove me wrong as I really like the guy, but just don't rate him.

10th. Enough quality in the squad, but no finesse up front and not enough quality at the back it seems. Midfield is inconsistent too, there is just a flow missing i think.
