Hi Guys, Eddie's lad here and a Charlton fans as some of you will know.

In a sentence could you describe McAleny for me? His strengths, weaknesses and what kind of player is he?

Many thanks and all the best for the season.

A tidy player who has the ability to change a game. Links well and can certainly beat players with skill, but can also be frustrating with how he uses the ball.

Connor McAleny is a player with great skill, guile and technique, comfortable with both feet, creative, good end product and rarely gives the ball away, a quality footballer. I don't really see many weaknesses with him apart from the fact he's a little small and lightweight in stature and doesn't have blistering pace.

I believe McAleny will go on to be a regular in the Premiership, so enjoy him while you can. I thought he would break through at Everton this season with his pre season performances. Everton won one friendly 4-0 and McAleny scored 1 and set up the other 3.

You've got yourselves a cracking player, I just wish you signed him last week as Charlton failing to beat Rotherham cost me £2,041.71!

Ouch! Coventry did me for a big pay day failing to score at Fecking Scunthorpe. I had 12 lines both teams to score and they let me down. Was worth well over £400!

Thanks for the feedback on McAleny, Everton fan I chat to on Facebook said that injuries are his downfall too but if he could stay free of them he would be in their first team squad.

means he must be signing for us right??

wrong

Still a decent signing for them and a few extra page views for yourself! :laughing6:

This is a Cardiff City forum and if you read the top for all fans from clubs. :thumbright:

But yes Conor will interest our fans massively as has just left us.

Some fans would of expected him back here maybe?

Also on Football News 24/7 regarding Cardiff City,it was the main topic :thumbright:

Paulh, you know what to do if you don't like the forum, don't come on it :thumbright:

Once again you've changed a topic, no wonder the mods ban you so much

You do this all the time. In my view (all views welcome according to you) it is misleading to use these headlines. "McAleny on loan at Charlton" would be far more honest don't you think? I have to admit I get tired of all these misleading threads. I click on them in the hope that the headline means that Cardiff have signed a new player but it has become obvious that they will be of no direct relevance to Cardiff. I realise that the inside information that you and Carl used to be privy to has dried up but I don't believe that you have to resort to such tactics to make this forum worthwhile.

I agree it was news to me that I'm interested in as well.
There's no pleasing some miserable bastards though.

Ooooooo that's spoiled my day!

Same here it's pretty relevant. We're in the article and he was here last year. Paula is just a troll.
