' Idrris Saadi Update interesting '

Was down the vale yesterday morning and those who post regular will know a post like this is rare for me.

I was talking to " a trusted source" from the club , couldn't resist that one!! Reckons were looking at 9 weeks until Saadi is back on the grass, disappointing if this is the case. Also went on to say it was a Tan signing and Slade didn't want him, what truth is in that I don't know as I often take them things with a pinch of salt. I do however have no reason to disbelieve him with regards Saadi being out for this amount of time, will keep an eye on this.

Slade has been quoted saying he had saadi scouted for a long time and had reports on him and watched videos on him.

Slade said he was looking for a typical number 9 and saadi was just that. Said he has a physical presence had pace and could also finish.

Really sounds like he didnt want him after hearing that to be fair lol

Sssshhhh remarks like that are too close to the actual truth and don't sit right with certain agendas

& Tan also decided to loan out Doyle as a result of HIS signing?? Really?

Its just because he is foreign gives this " trusted source" an indication that he is a Tan signing ffs cut me a break.

Aren't we supposed to wait for them to be rubbish before they become a Tan signing? That was the deal with Malky's Tan signings.

No we are so badly run we just put pin in list of available players and took pot luck! Slade's article clearly makes it plain he's on way back to match fitness and having 1 to 1 input!
One minute we have committee to get players then hey presto tan sign's crocked player.

So tan randomly buys a french 2nd div player who just so happens is not ready for 1st team? What about the other 9 or so signings since slades appt Who signed them? No mention of tan there! guess the committee story posted on here is just a fantasy of the fans!!

Don't shoot the messenger, in my OP I said I trke them sort of comments with a pinch of salt it was more to let people know he could be out for 9 weeks, hopefully not

I think people are not so much having a go at you for posting this , but them having severe doubts about the credibility of your so called "trusted source" based upon his claim that the player is a Tan signing when the owner would clearly have had no idea who he was or have hered of the club he played for - just doesn`t hold water. Therefore , if your source is so wrong about this , it leaves little credibility to his claims that the player is out for so long before being available to play. Without revealing names , is your "trusted source" in a position of any seniority at the club?

Why is it so unrealistic that Tan signed him?

He is heavily involved in football and obviously has many people globally giving him a few tips and names etc

it not unrealistic, i was under the impression that it was a joint decision between several people. including Slade and Tan

to play devils advocate a bit, do we really expect anybody at the club to say 'No' if Tan likes the player? One could consider that not going down very well with Mr Tan.

Works for the club, The tan claim could be nothing more than a rumour as I posted, taken with a pinch of salt but with regards the length of time out I don't think this will be wrong. I hope it is, I want to see him playing as soon as possible.
