Today of all days , time to get to the ground early rather than stretch out another beer.

We got there 4.30 and walked straight in

Same here in ground quarter past four no problem

Rubbish, Stadium nowhere near up to a premiership standard, to have people waiting for a big game like this is appalling. Just shows how you are miles behind in every department

Grow up...

There was no problem for the beligum game our ground is fine what's it got todo with the premirship

Got to ground half past four gate 4 just made kick off

One of the reasons was tickets not scanning. There were loads of fans having their tickets hand scanned by stewards because they wouldn't scan at the turnstiles..

We had the tickets and had to wait for one of our guys who was running late, he arrived and we made our move at 4:45, looked at the queue on gates 3/4/5 and thought, hello, are we going to get in? Matey boy was going to get a right mouthful but to be fair, he had only just arrived back from Cyprus (Luton Airport), we shuffled to gate 15 and walked straight in. result

Well done to Cardiff City fans, only saw 3 tops, two were red training tops with the badge on, I saw loads of Wrexham red shirts and possible 3 Swans red shirts.

Presumably those who went in fine at 4.30 weren't in gate 4?

At about 4.25 the queue went back towards the lidl car park, and then around the corner towards the NP gates.

It was at least a 30min queue from the back!

i turned up just after half 4 after sampling some beer along with the sun, i queued for around 5 minutes, nice and easy despite the queues, :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

It's their own fault for being down the pub and not getting in early enough!

Agree completely, we left the Pub in plenty of time, those who missed the kick off only have themselves to blame.

We drove to the stadium and arrived at 14.45pm and it was already crazy down there! Cues to drive in and we were worried at one point if all the spaces had gone but there were some left. Then went straight in as sat in hospitality area. On massive games like these it always better to park up somewhere whether it is at the ground or nearby at least 1 hour and 15 mins before kickoff. I know it sounds abit OTT but it's surprising where the time flies when your cueing to get in and at least once your in, have a couple of drinks soak up the atmosphere and watch the warm up? Obviously at a normal cardiff game arriving 20 mins before is ok most of the time.

Gate 4 took me by suprise. I got to my seat 10 mins after KO and I didn't moan and don't give a f**k about it either.

The queues were pathetic. I'm not sure whether or not we had worse queues when the Super Cup was played at the CCS...

I don't care what anyone else says, if THOUSANDS of fans were waiting to get into the stadium through no fault of their own, the kick-off should be delayed. Fair enough if people went to the stadium at 5 and complained because they missed kick off but someone us were there between 20-30 minutes before kick off yet didn't make it into our seats until 10 past!

If anyone thinks that the fans are "idiots" for going to a game TWENTY MINUTES BEFORE kick off then you're pretty thick yourself. I'm pretty sure fans waiting to get into a ground double the size of ours aren't made to wait 30-40 minutes to get in :?

You are an idiot for not expecting queues half an hour before kick off for one of the biggest games the stadium has ever hosted

We were in the Great Western at 1pm, planned to leave no later than 3:45pm (because we knew better) and get in 45 mins before kick off.

Don't you just love the self righteous people on here who get abusive to others because they got in the ground at 6am to make sure they saw all the game. New Stadium really there should not be these sort of problems. But hey I ain't moaning because I missed the first 10 mins. Just felt deflated after the game because I was so hoping we would all be celebrating, but we can wait.

I'm taking no chances for the Andorra game and am presently typing this on my phone in the tent I have erected outside gate 13. It's can be a bit lonely here, so earlier, I bought several wifi webcams from Maplins and installed them in the ladies showers at DW Fitness across the way. The hi-def ones are definitely worth the extra money, as they allow you to zoom in onto individual hairs.
