Imagine what the likes of our Youth/reserve team could do to help them out. Likes of Kennedy, Semi Ajayi, Declan, ossulivan, barnumm bobb etc thats been talked about today. Even Macheda till January !

We should still do this.
Agree to loan them good players in return for a link of the youth teams.
We can only keep so many youngsters here so some slip through the net. Newport could give them a 2 nd chance without us losing out.
In return we give them decent players and under 21s on subsidised loans and help them progress.

Any Newport fan who hates us is just an idiot. It's nearly all one way, only a few of our fans hate them and that's only because they hate us.

I'm no fan of them, but that's only due to the above.

It makes more sense for the clubs to work together.

At the moment, I can't see how any of our under 21s could possibly benefit from going out on loan to them. They really are in a shit state under butcher who's got them playing football that's not much better than Sunday league. I do see your point though, when they first came up from non league, would have been an ideal time to get a partnership going with them. They look fucked now though

Don't think they are THAT bad.
By all accounts they have been pretty unlucky so far.
Besides, it's close so no need for youngsters to move and easy for our coaches to watch them.
Also, it would show which players have the heart for the fight if they are struggling

They are in dire straights over at Newport County now. Bottom with 1 point from six games, a manager with a poor reputation, a owner in Les Scadding, who no longer wants to run the club, the fans are trying to raise the funds to buy the club, but are way off target... Absolute shambles.

To top it off, their attendances are in the 2,000s, and they are struggling to attract support. There is probably nearly the same amount of Cardiff City fans as Newport County, in Newport. For a city club, they really are lacking that professional feel. Went over there to have a look, and have seen them get torn apart. The atmosphere is drab, and its like £20 to get in. I fear for them, but wish I could see those who made is clear how much of a "Cardiff c#nt" I was. Although, they probably no longer go and watch Newport.

I hope they stay up, and I hope they become our little feeder club, and I hope we rinse them in the FA Cup. The only good part about them is they are another South Wales club, and although I like Wrexham, I was happy to see Newport beat them in the Play-Off Final to get into League Two.

With Les Scadding pulling out his funding, I hope they get another benefactor along the lines of Jerry Sherman.

F#ck them, I'll love it when they're extinct - again.
