Mason is 6 years younger mind! I think £4m is too much though, I'd sell for that!

The money is peanuts to what we'll get should Joe score around 15 goals for us and chip in with a few assists!

Too late in the Transfer window IMO!

A £4m player would need to be scoring 20+ goals a season not 15 in the Championship to be worth the money. Mason will not score 20+ goals in the Championship, if he does I will be over the moon and we'll probably be in the play-offs !!

Well it wasn't my valuation, but I think 15 goals would be a decent return for that value these days, especially when you look at the revenue to be earned upon promotion to the Premier League!

Ross McCormack went to Fulham for £11 million and even though he's only scored 18 goals (including a few penalties) in 44 appearances, they've just turned down a £10 million bid for him!

I don't believe it, last time the rumours were played down, if anyone offered 4m surely we would be mad to not accept it

Even if it is true, it's too late in the transfer window to sell him, IMO!

I would sell for £4 mill if true.

Exactly, it's not as though he's near the end of his career and can only improve in my opinion. Deadline day gives us no time to find a replacement so happy Mason is staying :thumbright:

To weak with no pace and I would sell for 4m as I personally don't think he will even start for us in the not to distant future.

If Wolves are stupid enough to bid 4m for Mason I would bite their hands off for that , Mason is not prolific enoughremember he had a season with Bolton and was average there , he's a decent player but easily replaced

I thought the same until I saw him at Forest on Saturday and it shocked me to see him being so physical and holding opponents off!

When we get good offers like this one we usually say get lost then a few months later sell them for peanuts, Ross M for example :ayatollah:
