There are some quality unknown attacking midfielders/forwards, in the Portuguese divisions. Sheffield Wednesday in the summer signed a fantastic player, who usually plays as an attacking midfielder or a Number Ten called, Marco Matias. He scored 17 goals in 33 games last season for CD Nacional in the Primeira Liga. He has been a revelation so far according to the Wednesday fans. He has only scored 1 goal in four games so far, but by the end of the season he will be over double figures and closer to 20 goals, than 10 goals.
So who knows this guy could turn out to be a real quality player. Or he may not. But that's what happens sometimes, every transfer is a gamble really. Cause you really don't know how a player will adapt at their new club.
If he signs, then we should support him and encourage him, like we should for all the new players who join our club.
