Correct. 'Hardcore fans' will be back once we win lots of games and are challenging. I actually enjoy the atmosphere at the moment, no booing and everyone is behind the team.

I did here someone boo really loud in the ninian stand when Whittingham had the audacity to pass the ball backwards, hate fans like that

There were boos when we tried to play football with a short pass from a freekick but got closed down well by Wolves which meant we went back to Marshall, probably the same people who boo when we lumped aimless long balls to Jones last season

For a club were the owner has lost interest,is looking to sell its best players and allegedly wants out ASAP I think the crowds are surprisingly good.

But what else can be done by the club and even by the fans to increase the home attendances again?

Returning to blue. Changing the badge back.

Great idea but who is going to pay for all the overheads ?

The overheads would be minimal the money made off merchandise and future ticket sales would far out way anything it costs to allow them in .

No police would be needed , minimal stewards as the teachers would be taking that role .

They would add to the atmosphere

We could also do a deal like a free school child ticket with every paying adult in that stand at say a fiver .

Having a few different local kids teams every week would give us a good chance to see any up and coming youngsters around South Wales for our youth set up.

The players not in the match day squad could interact with them signing autographs and having pictures taken . They are being paid so they can do some work for the money .

In all honesty it's a no brainer and it's pretty poor of the clubs commercial side that this doesn't happen allready .

Totally agree

Yes,i actually think it does.I dont think Its not the only factor tho, were still paying for the rebrand, the cost of attending, the poor football on offer are all factors.

Going back to Red, didn't we have our biggest crowds playing in Red?
Seriously thou, only success brings in the crowds. If we start challenging, the crowds will start coming back.

So those who like to think it's the colour of our shirt have been proven wrong.

The above posts are right, it's wins that get people back in the stadium.

If we can win at Forest, which is possible, then I think we'll see a slightly improved home crowd for Huddersfield and it will get bigger and bigger the more consecutive positive results we get.

You would definitely need the area covered with the full amount of stewards, what if the stand caught alight ? Or one of the kids fell ? There is no way the teachers would accept this responsibility, and I very much doubt this would be allowed under fa rules.

Who pays for the merchandisers to work in the stalls ? Electric, Gas, Water, Cleaners etc etc...

Sorry to piss on your fire, the concept is great however it would never work.

Price for a start. Some seats in the stadium were £35 on eticketing. I've got to pick and choose my games this season due to a few reasons, first time in I don't know how long without a season ticket.

I think it's a great idea but with a few tweaks (not that iam any expert at organising things). We could draw up a list of 50-60 schools within a 30 mile radius. Offer £3 per child. Teachers/carers go free. Perhaps just 3 times a season. Say if we only got 20 kids from each school times by say 50 schools = 1000 plus carers and teachers say total - 1030? Imagine they wud purchase food drinks merchandise from the shop! Not to mention investing in our youth for the future. £3000 plus sales for the club better atmosphere! Of course this is all hypothetical. : they wouldn't neccessarily have to open up the top red stand - there are empty sections of the family stand they could go into?.

It is a good start, they are trying hard, and look like they care, and celebrate as a team when they score. If they carry on like they are, people will start to return.

The football last season was terrible and based on the squad we had, we massively underachieved.

Ole set us back five years, Slade's job was much harder than any of us will ever know !!!
