Fabio definitely man of the match for me, as I put on the MOTM thread. Whittingham, Jones, Ralls and Connolly were good as well. Best performance Connolly has put in this season. Sammy Ameobi played the best he has so far when he came on, his pace will be crucial this season. The only player I wasn't too sure about today was Pilkington, which surprised me as he's been good whenever I've seen this season.

I think Joe Mason's goal was ruled out for a foul on the 'keeper, otherwise agree with a lot of what you say

Who would you start Fabio instead of? Obviously Malone has the virus so couldn't play today, but he doesn't deserve to be dropped after his first 3 performances. I missed the game today as I'm currently away but I've spoken to a few people (non Cardiff fans) and they said Fabio was good. But most of them said Whittingham looked a class above the rest and Kenwynne.

I'm a massive Fabio fan, so I would start him before Malone,that's my view

It's a good debate and a good problem to have two performing players there.

Fabio started off very ropey today, but grew well into the game. A lot of his brave clearances were to no one. He played very well and fully deserved to be motm. Would I start him in front of malone? No, definitely not. Would I start him ahead of peltier? Not sure, as peltier is very solid and did nothing wrong.

If those attendance figures are going to rise from just 14,000 those £10 tickets need to be promoted heavily - mentioned in every TV interview, in adverts in the Echo, on advertising hoardings around the City and promotions in the centre of town - main railways stations, The Hayes, Queen Street, St Mary's Street etc. When the public know they can get in and watch a match for that little the place with soon be packed to the rafters.

Wolves had the tossing it around at the back then the diagonal long ball to the corner tactic which Fabs ate up, constantly out jumping his opponent

MoM had to be Ralls. But that midfield looks balanced with players and battlers, just need a bit of pace up front which Sammi looks like he has and we could be a decent unit.

As good as Fabs was today, Malone should keep the jersey, especially away.

Obviously Wolves have had us scouted and knew from the QPR game at least that our LB really pushes on when we are attacking and so it was a credible pre-game tactic to target that area of our defence. Unfortunately for them a virus knocked Malone out of the game and Fabio came in with a different task.

Fair play to the boy he took his chance well. Fabio loves it when the Ninian Stand shout encouragement for him and he responds so well to it, hence the nervous start but the eventual MOTM performance.

A further point has to be Ralls who supports his left-back so well he could Rhys Weston look fantastic

May as well try it in a cup match than League, and mk dons playing decent at the moment and would be a good test

It was easily the best I have seen Fabio play for us today. It's hard to believe this is the same player who was playing against Wimbledon last week. I'm pretty sure his motivation is to get noticed by other clubs. He'll be gone before the transfer window closes - Mark my words.

Slade speaks about continuity and therefore must keep the same winning team for the Forrest game. It's unfortunate for those out through illness and injury but they now have to await their chance and then grab it like Fabio today.
Having competition at all positions at the club can only be good. We will then see Slades man management skills
