Connolly, Ralls and Whittingham were not up to it tonight

When was the last time Whittingham was up for it? I know he's done good things in the past and has been a good servant to the club but I just don't think he deserves his place in the team.

If it's just about set pieces then I think Noone can do just as well these days.

Annis I know your a fan of Malky, and so am I, but he ruined Whittingham IMO.

Didn't Malky "rest" Whitts for the run in to the championship?

I just don't think you can play him in a central 2 man midfield as that is not where his strengths lie.

Ned, Whitts is not just there for his set pieces at all, look at the bigger picture. I agree Whitts played awful tonight but Ralls imo had a shocker, wayward passes, losing the ball in possession, Pilks was also off form. The whole midfield was out of sorts but Dikgacoi was the best out of a poor midfield. I agree that Malky ruined him though
