I think Annis meant he wasn't played to his most effective strengths under slade. Not so much game time.

Alf will score wherever he goes IMO. Just wish he'd gone to Sheffield United, and not have been a threat to us

His best position througout his career always has been the bench!!! Maybe we should play him there!!!!

Sad to see Marshall go

Le Fondre never given a chance by Slade

Don't Agree with you there Annis Le Fondre could not hit a barn door when he was playing for us, he had plenty of chances and the couple of goals he did score where deflected plus the one he had up at Watford a blind man could have tapped that in

La fondre had plenty of chances with city. More than many others just did work for him at city

pointless loaning him out and in my opinion not good business for city.

may as well have given him a free transfer!

Annis you have to be joking
Le fondre not given a chance by slade
He was a starter for us ( too many times IMO) last season and would run up his own arse and could not find the net from so many easy chances he was a joke
The player never moved his family down here WHY if he missed them so much the money he was earning he could have moved them here and still afforded to keep the family home up north for when they could have all moved back to when his contract with us was up why you are making excuses for him for I can not understand not like you at all :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Shit business.
Spend a lot of money for him, give him to one of our rivals for the whole season & subsidise his wages.

So you want us to believe that you were there when this deal was negotiated do you
The last two loan deals that slade / dalman set up were Connelly and Jones
Now remind me how much money did they bring in hmmmmm
So just to level up the debate
IMO they will have negotiated a loan FEE , IMO about half a million ,plus ALL of his wages and an agreed price at the end of the season .if this is the case well done slade / dalman :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird:
