Times have changed.

Football is far more family friendly now and with all-seater stadiums, running battles are unlikely to happen.

Technology has advanced to the point where even Tesco know what you did last week!! Any chance of a dust-up has been limited to occasional meetings outside the ground or train stations.

Truth is, most of us have grown up and want to protect our families and jobs. Save the venom for the terraces I say. Shout all you want to during the game. Mind you, don't stand up because that's a capital offence!!! Lol.

Today's hooligan scene is mostly played out by kids calling each other nasty names on Facebook and youtube. a video gets posted of some hand waving and bouncing up and down, then everyone dives into the comments section with the most savage evil name calling they can think of
