There are press reports today that Austin was on the verge of signing for Sheffield Wednesday (they have been busy in the window), but new rules on work permits have scuppered that. He may not be able to play in the UK at all. He is allegedly looking at offers in Turkey and the USA>

I have never understood the work permit rules, but given how long Austin played for Leeds, and his family situation, that sounds very harsh!

I don't think we need him got enough cm on the books
