TOTALLY AGREE :thumbright: and TAN WASTES over £1MILLION :o

he would of earned that in a couple of days intrest of his wealth lol

Wez, you will never ever admit when Tan is in the wrong and even proved wrong.
Who said City never paid the bill?
Carl and you in an update ages ago said he was funding it at his own expense ? Has it changed since then ? Also the fact is there were racist texts,so how is the club or tan wrong ?

I never ? I can't answer for Carl?
it was 100% on an update when it all came out

Good decision, as per the law they wernt intending any harm or offence as it was a private conversation.

No.

As they are private, no one hears them = no one is offended.

All the ways in which this is wrong is unreal.

Nope.

Have you ever insulted someone else in private?.

Actually nevermind. We are not going to change each others minds are we, and this has been talked about hundreds of times on here.

Another £1 million added to the debt the club owes Tan?

Malky wasn't cleared Annis, he admitted it himself, just couldn't be punished due to it being private

Sums up the whole sorry saga

Completely agree with this. I bet Tan used his wealth and contacts and pretty much held a gun to peoples heads for them to go forward with some fabricated evidence. That agent also conned Tan out of 50k. Tan scraped the barrel digging up everything he could in his desperate crusade to get one over Malky and he's failed. I also feel sorry for Dave Whelan. Hopefully, Tan will accept it, keep his mouth shut and allow us to move on as a football club now.

The fact you think this cannot be offensive and cannot be a crime is incredible. Just say you don't mind people being racist to Tan it'd probably be more honest.

Something tells me that Tan will not accept it or let it go. To date his track record seems to show that he rarely lets anything go until he is proved right, despite the cost. There in lies his problem. I'm waiting for the Club statement which is bound to ruffle more feathers

The kick it out chairman was on ssn just now he gave a very good interview on it, I agree with him basically saying the fact were undermining themselves when they could of quite easily said a year ago they couldn't do anything. And that when you are involved in football even if the messages are private and then they become public it says alot about the person and questions whether they are fit and proper to be involved in a high profile job ( football manager)

Re: No action against former Cardiff City manager

Thu Jul 16, 2015 2:18 pm

Sadly there are NO winners in this whole sorry mess but one thing is absolutely certain and that is MM & IM shared these offensive text messages between them and have escaped punishment because " "the communications were sent with a legitimate expectation of privacy".

The question is " How much damage has this done to the reputation of MM?" Well in my opinion MM will find out the next time he applies for a job and then he will find this story being dragged up time and again and it will stay with him for the rest of his life.

If at the outset VT intended to inflict damage to MM reputation then it's game, set and match to VT. I just hope he accepts the FA position on this so we can ALL move on from mess.

They had case because fa investigated one!! But FA won't except private messages as being wrong! but cannot get away from fact both were guilty of saying offensive things (admitted by themselves)? Or because been cleared that makes them innocent?

Moral is if you was a manager of a company/shop of any sort and you find out people who work for you are calling you let's say a 'Fat pr*ck' or anything offensive you ain't gonna let them get away with it. :thumbright:

Did I say that, no.

It is the differnce between doing something in public and doing something in the private domain.

If you start criminalising people for private conversations, as I said, you might as well start policing thoughts.

Absolutely NO OFFENCE WAS CAUSED apart from when Tan released the texts. If anything Tan is at fault for crossing the barrier between private insults and public ones.

Yes it is a bit slimy to send texts around like this, but the difference is :sleepy2: they kept it private to not offend.

To be completely honest I say what ever I feel like with my friends. I don't really worry. Some of it incredibly offensive. Yet would I say that to the person I'm in insulting and is there any malice in what I'm saying? No. Who is offended? No one.

But weren't the emails and text on Cardiff city company phones and computers? That's how the club have them. So knowing that why did malky and Moody think it was ok to do it ?

Re: No action against former Cardiff City manager

Thu Jul 16, 2015 3:17 pm

That is just a technicality I think, as they were quite stupid.

Re: No action against former Cardiff City manager

Thu Jul 16, 2015 3:19 pm

Wez, Malky and Iain Moody are cowards simple as that.. no pointing in hiding from that fact.

Only when they investigated the fraud issue did they find them in there private email inboxes and phone inboxes so yeah they wernt open access to anyone.

The offence is all about intention Alan, otherwise surely comedians would be getting arrested left right and center. Jimmy car would be doing life.

Well put CB.

I would say this has killed off MM and it will be a very steep uphill struggle for him to reach what he did with us.

Regarding VT it will be interesting if he will let this rest now. I have my doubts he will and if he does move to keep this going it will make me wonder what actions he will take for the rejection of the re-brand.

Re: No action against former Cardiff City manager

Thu Jul 16, 2015 3:53 pm

It wasn't a not guilty verdict by any means. But it was apparently a private conversation.I think Tan has had his monies worth as I don't believe Malky will get another big job any time soon and I very much doubt he feels like a winner.Time for us fans to move on from this.

Re: No action against former Cardiff City manager

Good to see a bit of common sense at last, maybe now MM can get on with his life and get that knife out of his back, best of luck Malky and I hope you well else well :bluebird: :bluebird:

Nothing surprises me with football authorities anymore. Clearly a racist but got away with it.

To be honest the way he wasted all the clubs money and then his disasterous effort at wigan has done more bad for him than these investigations.

Re: No action against former Cardiff City manager

Thu Jul 16, 2015 5:19 pm

Don't think he's clearly a racist i think you should judge people on their action rather than words. Malky signed a number of black players signed kim bo twice made caulker his captain in the biggest season of his managerial carrier and was willing to work for a Malaysia. Would a real racist do that?
