Fabio was awesome, mason,Kennedy and Osijali also played very well.

Semi Ajayi looks good like he did for the development side calm on the ball and can pass it would like to see him and Manga start championship games together a I think he's better than Morrisson or Turner.

Macheda and Revell are a waste of time.

Forest Green 1-1 Cardiff City: Match report and key analysis as Russell Slade's Bluebirds start pre-season with a draw

Cardiff City opened their pre-season fixtures with a draw against Conference club Forest Green Rovers at their New Lawn stadium in Gloucestershire.

More than 400 Bluebirds fans made the trip along the M4 and they must have travelled home wondering how their team had failed to win.

City dominated play in the first half, went ahead in the second, missed a penalty and then conceded a sloppy equaliser.
They produced an excellent first half performance and really should have been in front by the break.

Joe Ralls smashed a shot against the bar, while Anthony Pilkington had a shot deflected just wide off a defender.

It was Ralls who constantly caught the eye with his industry and ability through central midfield, linking well with Kagisho Dikgacoi.
For a pre-season match it was an entertaining team display.

Dikgacoi doesn’t look fully fit yet, but he still impressed, using his power and ability to good effect and protecting the back four.

When Forest Green launched it in high midway through the first-half, it was Dikgacoi who got up to head away before it reached defenders.
