I think it's pretty obvious that he is guilty, it's just a matter of how serious the FA deem his offences to be!

If he is found guilty of racism over a couple of texts then we are all guilty of it.

On our work phones?

So if its on private mobile it's different?

Race law seems complicated but it can be explained in its simplest terms as "causing offence"

Due to freedom of speech anyone can have a racist conversation provided that it is not in "earshot" of someone it would likely cause offense or distress to. That's why Imam's in Mosques can openly call for the death of all non-believers as their words wouldn't cause offence to other Muslims (so much for so called 'moderate Muslims'). This is also the reason why Nick Griffin of BNP fame was found not guilt of racial incitement a few years back.

It is also the reason why hardly any crimes by black or Asians against White people are recorded as "racist". Its because nearly all black or Asians who are subject to attacks by whites will report them as such but for some reason whites do-not follow the same route, probably because black and Asians are encouraged to do so whilst whites are not.

I get really annoyed when the term "Ignorant" is used as whites are only ignorant of their very own laws which seem to protect everyone but the indigenous population.

As for Malky his conversation was a private one with a person who was not caused offence or distress so no criminal offence was committed. Of course his employers (Cardiff City) and overall ruling body (the FA) will have codes of conduct and MM may well be in breach of them, hence the investigations.

What the law says and what the population think can be 2 opposite feelings.

Some on here are quite offended over these 2 text messages. Some like me not so much, I've been called a lot worse as a Welshman in the military in a more open audience. I just learn't to laugh it off.

Do you really believe it is all about 'just a few texts' yet Malky dropped a £7 million pound claim against the club?

Nope but all we know at the moment are the texts.

Of course, hence why I think we should all reserve judgement until the full details are revealed!!

Indeed but who is the one passing judgement now?

Malky, has admitted himself, that he was wrong to use such language and understands that it was racist and offensive, he has even taken action and courses in order to deal with that behavior in future. Yet, you still don't seem to able to grasp this fact.

Whether Malky is guilty of any wrongdoing in the eyes of the law or not, isn't important to me at all. The fact is he is morally guilty of splashing money we had up the wall on complete garbage which contributed massively to our relegation. He had a romantic love in with the fans who adored him but he eventually gave us all the kiss of death. Solksjaer took over a city already on the way down. Any person with a realistic viewpoint realises we were relegated by the end of the transfer window. We lacked depth, we were dependent on players like medel who were never going to have the stamina to carry a midfield for an entire campaign and we had defenders with the turning circle of a Boeing 747. If it wasn't for Marshall's heroics and people like Campbell grabbing vital goals, we would have been battered constantly.

He apologised IF he had caused offence. Here are his word:

", looking at them they are completely unacceptable, inappropriate and for that and for any offence I've caused I sincerely apologise for that".

I don't read him saying they were racist comments.

If you don't see what he has done as racism and are happy with that kind of behaviour, then yes, you are also a Racist, don't make the mistake of thinking we are all like you or Malky. It doesn't make you a bad person, just ignorant.

Oh have a day off you PC brigade loving prat. I bet you're a white middle class fella who gets offended on behalf of other people because they have sod all better to do. Everyone is guilty of telling the odd joke that could be taken as being offensive. The most racist people are people like yourself who make a big deal about such to divide and cause angst amongst groups in society. Just like politicians who use divide and conquer policies to turn sections of society against one another so they don't get the blame and hate coming at them. Moronic PC loving prats like yourself fall for the daft rhetoric they come out with as well.

Recall once while working in Saudi we had an attachment of RAF engineers who work on the local airbase that had a local mosque opposite where they worked. These guys decided to araldite the Saudis flip flop to the ground when they went in for prays. Muslims have to remove their shoes before going into the mosques. When these guys came out the mosque they soon discovered their flip flops were stuck to the ground obviously. However instead of making an issue of it they just laughed. They knew who had done it although had no proof like. It was a laughing matter around the camp for a while and in the end they got their own back. That is how you build bridges.

"and for any offence I've caused I sincerely apologise for that". think the same line was used by Dave Whelan and Gerry Adams (a few times).

The FA's findings will be interesting.

Gerry Adams :o

Actually that sentence is right out of a solicitors guidebook. It is why I think there is a bit more to this.
