Hope Ameobi will be worth it then if we said that he'll feature in every league game

So many loopholes on this for both.

If he doesn't get enough time Newcastle withdraw him and say we didnt play him when we should have.

If we dont wish to play him due to form reasons then we simply state that hes injured. It is not Newcastles business to know the in depth detail of our match day squad and their fitness.

I think this is great business by all involved. Got to give credit where it is due.

Reading between the lines, I'm sure if he's on a shit run and knows he's not worthy of a place in the team, he can easily have a self imposed minor injury, it will be down to him and Slade to manage it.

As mentioned above every transfer and loan carries a risk.....

I am surprised that a few people on this thread are shocked that Newcastle want Ameobi to play when fully fit, it is something that loaning clubs do especially when they are sending a player to a lower league.

Can I just remind people that City themselves recalled Rhys Healey from his loan spell at Colchester at short notice because he was not playing enough, as a loaning club we exercised our right of the loan agreement to do that.

For the posters who are saying that it is a dig at Slade or an anti Slade agenda by stating that Mehmet Dalman did the negotiations with Newcastle is absolutely ludicrous, the manager highlights the players he wants that are within a budget and then the chief executive, managing director, director of football or the chairman will negotiate the deal, it is extremely rare that a manager negotiates the terms of a deal.

It is not a dig at Slade by stating Dalman negotiated the deal, it is a fact. That takes nothing away from Russell Slade, he met the player and obviously did enough to impress Ameobi because had he not then Dalman would have not had a deal to negotiate.

People talk about agendas a lot and sometimes I believe there are those who want to twist or put a different slant on what is said to make it appear that there is an agenda being pushed when it is not the case.

Newcastle had the final word in where Ameobi went on a seasons loan.

After Sammy Ameobi had agreed his new contract with Newcastle, Cardiff I believe have agreed, as long as Ameobi is fully fit, he must feature in every League game, Wolves were unable to give that guarantee.

As to the wages, both clubs were willing to pay approx 70% of his Ameobi's wages.

Chairman Dalman did all the negotiations with Newcastle after Slade had met Ameobi last week.

To be fair to City, we have saved on transfers fees and a hefty signing on fee and got ourselves a Premier League player for one whole season :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Good signing Annis, pleased, shows a little intent and ambition from our end to!

I agree, very positive move by our club :thumbright: :thumbright:

I was looking forward to the next negativity and it didn't take long with Slade being berated for promising that he plays in every game. Something that is not enforceable but let's not let that stop it from being lied about it.

I see Slade may also not be given credit for the deal now. Hysterical.

The bias and lies are laughable and can be seen through every time. Not quite up to the standards of world politics just yet.

Wayne, Where is the propaganda against Slade? please enlighten me? ?

most clubs loaning out a player will try to put in this clause....however in reality if the player is struggling with loss of form, confidence etc a simple phone call between the managers explaining the situation will result in the player being given a rest for a couple of games...

.this is standard practise in loan deals......I believe Le Fondre deal with Bolton had a similar clause
