hardly any city fan new where it was!
It was small bus shelter at bottom corner of canton and bob bank! So hardly targeting 5 or 6 fans when thousands of others there as well!!

Yes, far right hand bottom corner of the Grandstand and the idiot celebrated like he achieved something special, him and the other little nobody Ward were complete nobs that day.

Good memory of the celebration that lads, thought i had good memory ! Disabled section was bottom of the grandstand near the Canton stand as some have said. Some people still sound bitter holding grudges it seems  I do miss Ninian Park
Stephen Quinn be a good signing if true, Reading currently in advanced talks it sounds. If that player is named, then why isnt the other ? Guessing its a winger. Would love us to for 1 of the Jack wingers in Routledge or Dyer if its a winger from the Prem. Now they got Montero, Ayew, Gylfi and linked to others, 1 of these may become available. Even tho the rivalry

Quinn was a right prick that day, for sure. Did'nt we also have 2 players sent off, that match?

This was added, may I ask by whom?

"Hull City: Stephen Quinn nears exit despite contract offer"

Raheem Sterling

I remember a game at Sheffield United a few seasons ago where we were 3-1 up with about 5 mins to go and they came back to 3-3.

Right at the very end Quinn scores what he thinks is the winner and it was disallowed - he went absolutely mental! Couldn't have happened to anyone better!

He's an obnoxious, odious little tw*t.

I hope so because from the little we saw of him last season he looked a quality footballer.

Correct, I wasn't far away from the disable section that day, what an absolute tosser the bloke is I've always hated the scruffy little pikey since.

There was a disable section where I stated or was there two sections? as I always stood by floodlight in that corner and unless it was a parking bay for wheelchairs it was a disabled area! No probably didn't see game as not living in cdf at time?

Be quite happy with Quinn, my guess the other would be McAleny, both good signings if these are the two players.

1 played in the Premiership last season and 1 was relegated from the Premiership last season.
Quinn is the one who was relegated and McAleny didn't play for Everton.

I'd love McAleny back though. What a top player he was. I'm just glad that we signed Kennedy on a permanent deal :ayatollah:

I'd say it's all guesswork, though I do hope we sign McAleny....really rated him, especially playing where Mason does. Better than Joe.

Russell Slade has held talks with two players about joining Cardiff City.

Both players were Premier League players last season but one of them was relegated.

If talks proved to be positive, hopefully we will see our first signings early next week.

Be good to see some movement soon. :ayatollah:

You have missed the trick again Allan.

This thread was highlighted in another one this evening.

This is about when City were in talks with Stephen Quinn and Sammy Ameobi.
