Why because he's not very good?
A lot better than paying 20 odd million for a top player.
He is a good player no doubt but that is still a lot of money don't you think?

No I don't it's virtually peanuts for a top player nowadays.

But dont think we just look for bargains, if we did, we wouldn't still be in the Premier league. We look for ambitous players who suit our style, and if that's the case we will spend. Bony £12m Sigardsson £9m, Fernandez £8m Pablo Hernandaez £6m plus Ki, Shelvey costing over £5m. A bargain basement club we ain't! Just a well run one.[/
Umm ok, thanks for the advice.

Not for a PL striker. Cornelius? He was more!!!
This hang up on the signing on fee is normally jealousy and yes, I am hugely envious of some of these players. But it's down to market forces I'm afraid. Normally, the club selling gets the money. As a free agent, he gers it. Same difference.
Cornelius was on 45 k to be exact but still very shocking but I never thought the jacks would spill that amount of money on a free player even though he is a good player this is a gamble on their part in my opinion.
We paid £10million for Cornelius, they are paying £5.75million. He's on 5k extra a week, my maths isn't great but I'm quite sure that means Cornelius (if he stayed) over his contract and fee cost more than what Ayew will cost.
Didn't Caulker get a 2million bonus for staying a year?
good player but unless swans change there long standing tradition of one man upfront, that caused friction with bonny and gomis! he or gomis is not going to be happy? unless of course gomis is on way out as rumoured before!
