This is a very important point. We return to blue and have the bluebird back in prominence. These were to be expected.
However Tan has sanctioned taking things a step further. The fact that there is no red should be applauded, he could have kept it and many would still be happy.
Where he has gone over and above is with allowing that phrase, "our city is blue". Even the most set in stone fans must see that the phrase is a slight on Tan's rebrand. It's telling him to leave well alone. Seen as he will have final say on these things he must be applauded for being so self effacing.
Now the fans need the do the same with the only slight issue..... The dragon. It's not the best but surely the owner should have something for himself. I know I would.
When Tan goes the dragon will easily be changed to a Welsh Dragon without much fuss.
I'm not a fan of the guy and still think the sale of the club is best for everyone. But I cannot be so parochial to not give him credit when it is due.
Just the debt sorted and he may just, out of all adversity, be liked by the masses.
