:bluescarf: " SEASON TICKET SALES/NEW BLUE KIT " :bluescarf:

As everyone knows the sales of season tickets so far have been awful

But hopefully the New Blue kit which has been welcomed by 99% of Cardiff City and many saying its the best kit for years, will get the City fans excited again :thumbright: :thumbright:

The sales of shirts are expected to be the highest for years and hopefully the club do get them on sale for July 3rd :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

I am not a Vincent Tan fan,but at last he is starting to get something right :thumbright: :bluescarf: Now its time to, for his other promise Debt to equity. :thumbright:

Lets hope this has a knock on effect and season ticket sales start to drastically improve, there is still 6 weeks to go, so lets sell at least another 5,000 plus :thumbright: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Lets All give next season a fresh start and Support the Mighty Bluebirds :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

look at our historical attendances!

they show our support to not be 20k plus, more like 15-16k when we are in this sort of position. there is no way we will be attracting the fair weather fans back, since they demand entertainment and results.

do i care that we will have fewer fans this year? not really. if you want the fans to come back, posts like this (though commendable) will do very little since the fair weather fans have a different mentality to regular attendees. in reality its down to the players to get the plastics back.

However, back in blue and even though apparently the team are now shite  we've got our season tickets back in the Canton Stand. :bluebird: :bluescarf:

It was never about the position of the team or success, it was about being Cardiff City FC and to me the red wasn't a true representation of the club I loved.

Put the red tops here :digging2: and fill it in sharpish.

Welcome back : thumb up:

Mr Tan is learning all the time how to run a football club.Made huge mistakes but I'm sure that was taking bad advice from yes men.Everyone has to start somewhere and we all make errors and learn from them. Our club is his best shot to own a Premier league club and if he knew a few years ago what he knows now we would be flying. He didn't become a billionaire overnight but started small and learned.I've a feeling he will come good in the end

That was in exchange for a change to red that the fans renegaded on so no need for him to do it at all. Sure he will do it in time but no doubt when he's ready not when we want him to be. We're back in blue just be happy about it and leave the rest up to him.

No it was not in exchange for a change to red.

The filmed interview in July 2013 with Vincent Tan himself , in which he clearly said he would be converting all his debt to equity (he quotes the debt as being £130m) within days of reaching agreement over the Langston debt (the agreement was signed shortly thereafter)is still available for all to see via a Google search (look for Vincent Tan honorary degree). There was no condition attached regarding a red kit.

No fans reneged (see what I did there!) on any deal. It is just that VT has not honoured his word on the subject.

In all the rebrand articles on Wales Online for May and June 2012 they all talk about debt to equity. Plenty of people including some on here have always said the only reason they accepted it in the first place was because of this and it leaving the club debt free. As always with city fans and footy fans in general we all want our cake and eat it. There's nothing we can do to make him convert it anyhow so why people keep bringing it up in otherwise good threads is beyond me. When and if he wants too he will, until then be happy we're in blue and enjoy the footy.

Thankyou, It'll be great to be back Annis, missed it like mad. Going down on the marches and then walking away from the ground while everybody else went in (Man City, Southampton, Liverpool, etc) was very painful. Just so glad that people like yourself continued the fight inside the stadium and on here and the likes of Bluebirds Unite kept me sane and thanks to this persistance we are now back as we belong. :bluebird: :bluescarf:
