I tend to agree.
I had more arguments over Dave Jones lol.
He has delivered on some but this was for red. We shouldn't expect anything further now back to blue and that's fine for me.
Exactly. Debates over owners, managers, formations and players are part of what football is about. A difference of opinion doesn't divide the fans.
Also agree, fine for me too.
I also agree with the above comments. The rebrand is now dispensed to history and those who continue to drag it up are nothing more than serial shit stirrers.
It is these fans and not Tan who are the biggest danger to our football club. 99% of the fan base want to see our club thrive and go forward with the aim of establishing ourselves as a top ten Premiership club. Unfortunately due to bitterness and spite there are those who would prefer to see us struggle so they can blame Tan for all the ills that we encounter.
I'm so glad that there are a number of posters who have the strength of personality to recognise this and point out how absurd this attitude is. Of course there will always be the sheep who will follow my leader no matter what the true circumstances are, but fortunately there numbers are not growing
I like you. You post well.

You really are naive Neil. You and a few others.
When Tan appeared on the scene we were pushing for premiership. An attractive offer we were. Hence why the likes of Tan came on the scene. He came to make money out of us. Unfortunately for us he has screwed it up. He is now trying to get back as much as he can. When he is done he will count his losses, leave us where we were 10 years ago hardly an attraction, sell us to status of the Riddlers who will take us nowhere.
The bottom line is Tan has screwed up and will sell us to such a status being who will take us back to the tax man knocking again because we will not be an attraction anymore. Guys like you will one day wake up.
So as well as someone who changes the past you can also predict the future?
Ian you are wasted in your current job.
The simple FACT is that we were knocking and knocking on the door of the Premiership, didn't make it and there was little prospect of getting there. We had run out of money pushing for it and had we somehow survived liquidation by HMRC we definitely would have received a ten point penalty by going into administration. We had no players to sell as those of value had all been sold. However Tan took us over and two years later we were top of the Premiership. FACT. Anything else is conjecture.

At the start of your message you said we were pushing for the Premier League when Tan came in, then you say we were going nowhere and the Tax Man would come (Quote) "Knocking again"![]()
I'm no 'fan' of Tan, but I know with certainty that had(as it did) the Premier League Play-Off not go our way that day, we would not have 'pushed' anything but daisies the following season had Tan not come in when he did!
Just pointing out, because I don't like the term "(quote) "Guys like you" are automatically 'naive' because they see things a little differently and (maybe) a little less personality based

I'm not Tan until the end. Far from it. He had made a lot of mistakes however he has us in a better position than when he found us which was days away from being wound up that's despite the debt we have at the moment which is to one person and that's him thus not likely to be wound up.
I had a similar scenario when I used to defend Sam on the other board and people used to slate me for that stance. I preferred to look at the positives Sam made in progressing the club than the negatives. People who take risks (like Sam and Tan did) will make mistakes. Tan's main mistake was the rebrand. This he has reversed. Instead of giving him credit for that or even allowing a clean slate you continue with your anti Tan stance much to the detriment of uniting the fans. That of course is your prerogative as you have always worn your heart on your sleeve which is why I think so highly of you. There's no bullshit from you as you say it how you see it.
