It disgusting that people don't know about the 1976 Euros

Well I would go as far to say that anyone who doesn't know about euro 76 aren't real Wales fans

The atmosphere got pretty ugly at times I thought the Yugoslavian players were in danger at one point.

The ref was certainly in danger had anyone managed to get to him. It got very ugly at times and could have been a major factor in us not qualifying for the next world cup being banned from playing within a 100 mile radius of Cardiff.

The format then was totally different to what it is now so it's understandable that some people don't know about it as it is rarely mentioned and probably a game that the Welsh FA would rather forget.

I was at the the Yugoslavia game in Ninian Park. East German referee. Neither country exists any more, but we're still here!

I was there that day one of my first disappointments following Wales I never forgotten it .then two years later I went to anfield and we got knocked out of the world up by scotland couldn't believe thAt one either[ iwas only fourteen when we lost to Yugoslavia. Sixteen when we lost to scotland two big disappointments and I hadn't reached twenty years of age and there was more to come

But given the circumstances at that tournament, right or wrong, I don't think people count it as a major tournament.

I was only fourteen when we got knocked out by Yugoslavia and sixteen when we lost at anfield to scotland I was at both games to disappointments before the age of twenty and there was more to come .i was at Wembley when we beat England that wasn't so bad in fact it was great
