How far would Bournemouth have been behind them a year ago? Was that light years too?

What's key is the right manager putting the right structure in place. Slide won't last very long so if we get the next appointment right, like we should have done with Pulis, the who knows. Chill and see what happens.

Like the optimism but in reality you will languish in the championship for many many more years to come.Sitting there praying for us to mess up is taking it`s toll on your sanity. And i fooking loves it .

The reality were likely to languish in the championship is based on what? If it was realism were more likely to languish lower in the leagues after the shit we endured last season. Thats the thing nobody knows especially in the championship what could happen which as been proven time and time again with the promotion of yourselves a obvious example. I would take a few years in the championship if it meant making a more sustainable club and in risk of the debt spiraling further out of control. For me I would obviously want cardiff to be able to compete with the best and be above your lot but that isnt going to happen soon. So im not going to pray for you to mess up id rather pray for some decent football at the moment at my club. Thats reality. Enjoy this moment in the football cycle you never know when your back in the trough

With tan involved no. Simple as that. He's the one who employs the managers he has a say on what players we buy and he's f*cking clueless. The guy is poison.

Why do we want To catch up to them! Why not catch any other club? Or is the entire football world trying to catch them as well so we have to!! :?

Exactly. Its human nature to want to be better than your nearest rivals but my hopes for cardiff are probably not going to be realised soon but it certainly wont have anything to do with Swansea. Only interested in what is going to happen to us not with swansea or anyobe else for that matter.

And there we have it. Yet another example of the "quick fix" culture bred amongst your clubs fans. Lurching from one sugar daddy to the next, hoping and praying for bigger and better warchests as you sell up and stumble blindly from one disaster to the next. Perhaps I'm being unfair here. I sense a dawning of realisation in some of your more savvy fans, that you've been played like fiddles for the best part of 10yrs by your dubious chairmen and owners. All to the tune of £120 million(?). Perhaps the penny has finally dropped. Albeit too late.

The Jacks have done great but the fans are so sanctimonious (look it up Jacks).

I support Cardiff, always will, find Swansea boring, always will, and that's all there is to it!

With the money involved in the premier league now and going forward it's going to be far more and they ain't gna get relegated and we won't get promoted so I'd say we won't ever catch them we've missed that boat, financially they are in a great position where we can only hope our crackpot owner keeps bank rolling us till he can find a buyer, until then any asset is for sale. We can all dream about getting promoted and staying there but on average it takes a club around 4-6 yrs to get back up once relegated and then normally only one in three stays up so chances of us being in the same ball park as them any time soon is minimal and yrs away so no point even looking up at them it's like Tranmere looking up saying they want to catch up with Liverpool...not gna happen

Let Swansea be opssessed about us not the other way around and stop making threads about them would be a start.

There's no doubt that the Backwater Boys have done it the right way and are rightly enjoying it. But the business of football is dynamic and at some point I would expect fortunes to be reversed or possibly worse.

That said, the last thing I would feel compelled to do is look at at Planet Swamp or perhaps worse, post on there. That would be beyond sad. As are Danthebackwardsswansman, Tragic Flaps and 64Cock, who at this present time are probably engaged in a bizarre homosexual position known as the 'Isle Of Man'. Boys, make sure you shower and scrub before entering the CCS tomorrow to watch your national team play at their preferred home. Bleuchh.

Definitely within the next few years, I don't think it will be from us improving though.

Try engaging your brain cell next time.I know it is hard after years and years of supporting that joke of a club but keep trying and you may get there one day .And you keep telling yourself you have never visited Plant Swans as much as you like but we all know you are a massive liar . the gap is getting bigger and bigger . Cya , wouldn't want to be yah .

SwNsea are a model club. Sensible spending. Fan based ownership. Limited debt. New stadium. And worst of all, players want to sign for them.

I'm City till I die, but I'm not a bitter tw*t. I'd rather see at least one Welsh team doing well. Helps the international scene.

They are a complete opposite of us. The only thing we have is our fan base. We do have a bigger potential crowd base. But due to the way the club has been run over the last 50+ years the fans are bitter. And divided in some parts.

Until the fans unite and all get behind the team. All turn up and pay the attendance then we are just another Sheffield United.

Sad but true
