NO. Malky wanted more money even after spending £50m, we had no pace in our squad and we wasted it on Corenlius, none of our strikers could have scored on a consistent basis. Sunderland were getting into form and there would have been no doubt with the fixtures in January that we'd be in the bottom three, thus even if we had spending money we would have a tough job persuading them to join us.

A big fat yes, we would have stayed up last year and moved on this year, Tan hated Malky because most fans loved Malky and hated Tan, simple so he dug and dug, and finally started to turn the fans against the best manager we have had for a very long time. The rest is history, 2 sh*t managers and we have gone back over 10 years

My reasons for saying No..

Including his time at Watford Malky has always struggled post Christmas. It's like the January window applied some sort of Hoodoo on him.
Few years back His Watford Team were on fire and blew us apart sensationally. But after January they fell by the wayside.

First season we toiled after the turn of the year despite final against Liverpool
Promotion was limped in the last few weeks we didn't have the same spark.

The Southampton game at home for me was the indicator, players were not responding to his methods..
It was a must win game for Malky and the lads were not interested.

Hence why the No.
