It would never happen Martyn, even fringe PL players wouldn't drop to play at Cardiff as they will be contented by there salaries

So that proves there is money to spend on top L1 & Championship players. The club is in a sorry state compared to when Bellamy signed twice for us.
Fowler was finished as a top-class player years before he signed for us, making a living from his name alone. Again, the club was a much more attractive club for players to take a gamble upon joining us.

It proves there's money to spend. If we offered 4 mill for a player from league 1 then we can bid 5mill for ledley

We have the extra advantage that he happens to be from Cardiff.

Why would he want to sabotage his career by joining us.? He plays for a club that is going from strength-to-strength since their promotion to the PL the same season as us. He is competing for a place in the 11, is going to get games, plays with excellent players around him.
Career suicide joining us in my opinion with no guarantees of PL football for seasons to come, Tan in charge, Slade as manager.

He's not coming to us. We're a club looking to stabilise in the Championship. He is currently tied into a contract with a club that is doing well and he's putting in decent performances with good passing rates as well as showing he is able to influence games. If he does come to us it'll be in the future when he's passed it or on loan.

Why didn't Bellamy go 'home' sooner then? Anything to do with being rich enough in his thirties to come back? If anything, it would be harder for Ledley to give up lucrative contracts in favour of a return

I honestly do not believe Jo Ledley is coming to Cardiff City next season, a big NO by Tan and another NO by Ledley.

Bellamy and fowler were in the days when we payed big wages. Now we live within our means.

Two players at the very end of their careers who wanted to prolong their footballing days as long as possible. We've had plenty of former top players like hasselbank who have come to us way past their sell by date. Ledley may come back towards the end of his career, but like I said yesterday, I can't see any chance at all of him returning when he is practically at the peak of his career. He can do far better than coming here.
