Totally agree but that's the players job so why blame the manager ,and yes I know he picks them ,but he don't tell them to play shit does he :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

No but he tells them the system to play

No he doesn't tell them to play shit but he does tell them to play the shit style of football they've dished out since he's been there.

I've reckon that to have been a Cardiff City fan since 2002, you would have been among the luckiest in the land. That said the football has been dull to a point of boredom. Some of that is down to necessity, losing so-called 'quality players week in week out, the manager's job despite his talk of play offs, has been to keep City picking up points throughout the season. If we play dull football next season I'll be disappointed too, but let's see. This season wasn't Slade's, next season will be, and I'm a lot more optimistic about it now than I was a couple of months ago. He just may, really know what he's doing..

The football is no worse than what we played under Malky, difference was we were winning. We haven't played tidy football since Dave Jones was in charge.

My first experience of the city was back in 1992. Since then I've seen some rubbish but I still enjoyed it! Loved going, the atmosphere, the day out was superb, regardless of the result! Modern day football has moved on, all seater stadiums etc.. But i do agree that the football is probably at its worst for at least the last 10 yrs... This season was a chore to even sit there and watch! Each game was predictable, boring and the whole day flat!

I'm not a fan of slade and I can't ever see my opinion changing on him! He had some quality players that he didn't know how to utilise, he's not up with the modern day tactics, formations and set ups of football and I don't believe the right man to take us forward only consolidate.

There's no doubt the guy knows the lower leagues well but you need that bit of quality to achieve over and above. U can't compare Bournemouth as they have a younger more current manager who clearly has a better football philosophy!

The football under Malky, whilst not fantastic, was hugely better than this dross I've been watching under Slade.
Malky showed more passion in his little finger than Slade does with his folded arms over his beer gut.
Malkys teams were well organised, played with a passion & a purpose. The complete opposite to the football I've witnessed this season.

Passion does not make good football though, I agree we were well organised, but even when we won the league we never really battered anyone and most games were won by the odd goal (not that it's a bad thing) it's getting the 3 points that matters.

We never played flowing football, we lumped the ball forward to Kenny Miller time and time again.

We have shown plenty of fight away from home under Slade, and also played good football in a few games. Our home performances have been shocking though apart from his first few games.

I'm sure if we continue to play how we have next season but win 10 of the first 10 games the fans will be back
