We need a proven manager in the Championship with the right backing from Tan, only then we can compete. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen.

What's your opinions ?

If Tan did read all the social media stuff he would realise what a bunch of muppets supported the club.

People who put in little money and effort other than on social media and who demand a say :ayatollah:

He won't turn, why should he, empty stadium, team playing poor football under a poor manager with players who would look better placed on a park pitch.

Why would he change it's going the way he wants :sladein:

What a stupid statement! You forgot to add tan wants us relegated?

Tan should be applauded for being loyal over this.

I'd absolutely LOVE it if Slade took us up, in blue, on a smaller budget.
It would be a biggest achievement at our club for 90 years.
Slade is more 'one of us' than most of the big names and foreign coaches, it would be one hell of a story.

And for those who won't go whilst he's a manager, I hope you miss history being made.

Well said that man!!! :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

The OP made a claim that Tan was not "listening" but was "aware" of an agenda amongst fans to get rid of RS. That seems a contradiction and surely another and more accurate interpretation is Tan has listened but does-not agree?

The fact is RS is our manager and hasn’t relegated the team whilst operating in very difficult circumstances due to the new FFP regulations. With those regulations in mind the club in the short term has to think differently and look for bargains when it comes to player recruitment.

RS will probably have a good knowledge of the loan market and the best talent on the fringes of Premier Clubs from his time at Orient. Again he will know the best players and therefore bargains in the lower leagues.

Whether we like this approach or not is immaterial as we HAVE to operate within the rules and I would prefer the club to be pro-active on this rather than reactive half way through the season, as happened last year.

Probably because he listened to the same people about the rebrand and they were shown to be talking shite Carl.

Whilst I am not that great a fan of RS I do think he has come in and steadied the ship, because lets face it by Christmas we were sinking fast. He has reduced the wage and still has to get it down even further. People are saying that without a major manager coming in and without good quality signing this Summer we are not going to challenge for anything. Well if you look at the landscape in football at the moment there are massive changes afoot and the implications of the financial fair-play rules are going to have a massive impact on the way all championship clubs behave.

If you look clubs are cutting wage bills all over the place and the threat that QPR have at the moment is sending all the clubs to panic in relation to their spending. I believe that no club will be able to "Buy" its way out of this league like QPR did because if this come back down there is all hell to pay.

I believe we need a period of stability into next season without stepping onto the managerial roundabout and with a little bit of luck and some careful buying could find ourselves in the mix, because I do believe we already have the basis of a squad that can challenge for promotion.

We have no choice but to Stick with RS so lets all get on with it and stop sniping at anything and everything involved with the club and SUPPORT THE BOYS AND MAKE SOME NOISE :bluescarf:

While I think Slade is a terrible manager and would be delighted if he was sacked it would be a big concern if Tan was listening to the media especially the nonsense the echo have come out with over the last view years.

Just people on message boards of course, Tan should be able to make his own decisions however I think he would being extremely naïve not to listen to the clubs customers.

The fans are the Clubs heart and our opinions do count. What we want from our club and the style of entertainment should be taken into consideration sorry.

It He listened to people on message boards he would be expecting full houses, a sea of blue and loads of season ticket sales after reversing the rebrand. How did that work out?

He would also try and reduce the debt to make us self sufficient (which some wanted and he is doing) but be criticised for not showing ambition.

I could go on.

Very true Chief but here lies the problem that most fans realise he is recouping as much as he can. The lies are deafening coming from our club. Then there is the glory fan who came on board when we were flying and now they are flying in the opposite direction.
But we are being left with our hardcore of fans and yes our views do count.

In other posts it says he is saying nothing so he can't be lying and saying nothing.

Recouping what? The money he invested? His prerogative as the rebrand has been reversed. However I don't think he's doing just that else he wouldn't sign any players for transfer fees which he has done.
