After watching the league 1 playoffs I wouldn't be to keen on either the chesterfield boys to be honest, got no problem with going into lower leagues to get players, the 2 I would prefer over the chesterfield boys would be 2 Swindon boys wing back or winger he played called byrne absolutely ruined sheff united & the other boy lugano who looked a really good player.

But with adyemi, okeefe, dikachoi, whitts, ralls, gunnar do we need another centre mid??
is dikachoi doing all this extra pre-season to be sold or to actually play??

Exactly. I knew all about Whitts when he signed. All this transfer talk is very underwhelming. Another season of mid table mediocrity if this is the route we're taking.

Not sure about the players being looked at themselves but need understanding as to why the horror at picking quality from league 1 instead of costly from premier?

In fact the Jacks had players whom went with them through each division.. Rangel, Tate, Monk and a few others I think.

However the difference is that they had a system and a style of play that was conducive for that kind of player development.

We do not. We have Slade who seems to think we played decent football last year.

Doesn't matter if we are getting in league 1 or La Liga players... they are coming into a bit of a coaching nightmare.

I think getting players from lower leagues is fantastic... as long as we can get the best out of them and sadly have no confidence we can do that.

Christ people got a short memory on here.When they were in the championship people were saying how boring their system was and laughing at the fact that they won most of their games 1-0.
