Tucker, must of not been around in the real bad days, these days are still glory days compared to the 80s and 90's.

The more I think of it,even a couple of the years in the 70s were far worse.

I've been there since 82 and tucker clearly fails to remember Andy Kerr, Carlton Leonard, steve Sherlock, lethal Lynx, Kevin meacock, will foley etc....

Last season was poor but no where near as bad as the 80s.

They werent Gareth, most of some of the oldies were def not there,thats why the crowds were 1,400-4,000.

They werent Gareth, most of some of the oldies were def not there,thats why the crowds were 1,400-4,000.

I missed about 7 or 8 home games between 82 and 89. Used to do Welsh cup, freight rover etc. was gutted to move away in 89. Hopefully in next year or so I will move back to,South Wales and be a proper regular again as opposed to a part timer.

Tucker was a normal fan in those days and he loved the City. His love must be by now be diluted as a result of his knowledge of the inner workings/politics of the club and of the ridiculous demands of a newspaper and or its editor trying to provoke debate or controversy in an increasingly desperate bid to sell newspapers, with no interest in contributing constructive editorial with the interests of the club and its fans at its core. Tucker is a good bloke and a City fan through and through.

Yeah, agree. Better times all round back then. Steve is def n old city fan and must cringe at the shit he has to come up with these days. Local newspaper journalism is v poor these days but a job is a job.
