Agree tucker must be a newbe
The more I think of it,even a couple of the years in the 70s were far worse.
I've been there since 82 and tucker clearly fails to remember Andy Kerr, Carlton Leonard, steve Sherlock, lethal Lynx, Kevin meacock, will foley etc....
Last season was poor but no where near as bad as the 80s.

Correct Gareth, but maybe Tucker has not even heard of those players

I doubt he has! Mind you there's plenty of fans who are our age who now support ccfc but where never there in days of Durban, Ashurst, hibbitt etc

Tucker was a normal fan in those days and he loved the City. His love must be by now be diluted as a result of his knowledge of the inner workings/politics of the club and of the ridiculous demands of a newspaper and or its editor trying to provoke debate or controversy in an increasingly desperate bid to sell newspapers, with no interest in contributing constructive editorial with the interests of the club and its fans at its core. Tucker is a good bloke and a City fan through and through.

Not saying he is not a good bloke.
But if he was a fan during those days, then he will know todays football is class compared to the old days, even though they were better times and enjoyable, fans stuck together and had great trips.
