Budget does not mean what we got to spend on transfers ffs
Some on here make me laugh
When they say club to announce budget I think they mean to slade not all and sundry
When working to a budget it is for everything not just transfers
It is a balancing act the more you spend on wages the less you have for fees
The moor you spend on fees the less you got for wages etc etc etc
And with the fair play rules the less you got coming in the less you can spend
So in a way all the non renewers are actually lowering our budget
So they have no entitlement to moan if we have to lower our expectations in the transfer market and also raise money through sales and lowering wages
It's actually called good house keeping and living within our means
IMO about f..king time :sladein: :sladein: :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

If we can find a Eddie Howe then we have a chance but sorry we got put you asleep Slade :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout:

Don't forget Eddie Howe went to Burnley and failed before he returned to Bournemouth, albeit for family reasons. He has been backed with some serious money and although he got players from the lower leagues, they were players on the up who would have commanded big wages wherever they went. In terms of wages payed to players, he probably had as much to spend as Malky to get us promoted. I wonder if he can keep Bournemouth up? It seems to get harder for the promoted clubs every year, and a ground which holds 12,500 will have its own challenges.

And when he left we was in the Premiere and not in the bottom three. :sladeout:

So you're saying Malky would have gotten points at Arsenal, Man City and Man United away that month? Even though he asked for MORE money despite having a 'warchest' and a Championship squad on wages of £30m?
exactly we were sinking like a stone coz of his poor signings in the summer

Oh, I forgot to say :sladein: for now at least. Get behind the manager you miserable bunch. We don't have a crystal ball, but if by some chance Slade does get us promoted then I hope all of you doubters who post on here grovel in an appropriate manner. Give the man a chance FFS

Exactly. I love it when our fans use this excuse, him wanting more signings is the sign that he himself knew that we weren't performing. We'd have been in the bottom 3 under any manager come January

In May, City will announce Slades Summer budget/ but at the same time Slade will be told at least 10 more highly paid players have to go including some of the ones returning from loans etc.

Tan will continue to try and get the debt down and as much money back that is owed to him as possible.

Remember two small clubs like Watford and Bournemouth were automatically promoted this season, so can Cardiff City do it next season? and what type of budget do you think Russell Slade needs?

Who do you think will be the 10 players?

Personally I think it's a great idea. By the way I dont think Watford are a small club, been in the Prem before and always one of favourites to go up from championship.

Crowds a bit hit and miss at times mind.
