There's no denying that the Echo looks at this forum and a majority of their stories are made from this forum. Hopefully they can throw these ideas in an article

The Kids are the future, I have a 5,9 and 14 year old and they want £260 each to sit by me in the Ninian Stand
Plus my £420 odd, Ive Renewed 2 so far Mine and my 14 year olds.

I dont want to sit in the Family stand, nor do my children. :thumbright:

Completely understand why you wouldn't want to sit in the family stand Annis, I've had 4 ST's in the Family stand for the past 3 years (me, the boss, my 11 yr old and my 8 yr old), trying to keep them interested so they become bluebirds for life with the dire football not to mention the absolute zero atmosphere in our stand is a challenge. My 11 year old asks me at every game why we can't move to the either the Canton or the Ninian stands and as much as I want to say 'yes Son we will from next Season', I just cannot justify paying the same for an 11 or an 8 year olds ST ticket at the same price as an adult. Surely it makes business sense for the club to have a flat all around price even just for under 16's. The kids are the future fan base of our club.

Marketing is not rocket science when it comes to "businesses" like a football club . Your market is right in front of you and your future market is in the same place .

If your child comes home from school on a Monday morning with a free ticket to the football the Next weekend , all his mates are going , his face is all lit up with excitement and it only costs a fiver to take him then it is very hard for any parent to let them down .

Once they go to one game a very good percentage will get the bug and be cardiff throughout there life . If they give away 20,000 tickets to school kids throughout the season and went on to sell say a thousand kids season tickets on the back of it at the suggested £60 price it will be a success . Those kids season tickets will turn into adult season tickets then they get there mates involved and in 10 years time all of a sudden you end up with 5000 extra fans that may not have been there if it wasn't for schemes like this!

I wouldn't mind betting probably over half of our season ticket holders started like this .

We need much more of this :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Annis, you have said yourself that we have 6000 fans who have paid for tickets yet don't turn up every week  in essence, as they have already been bought, it's free to attend, yet they don't turn up and they are supposedly actual Cardiff supporters who have not had to be cajoled into coming to games. If you sell cheap season tickets for the whole season, then if the football is crap, they will just not bother and we are in the same position, with seats all sold and no one occupying them. I'm all for making it as cheap as possible for kids, but it should be done on match by match basis and could be increased when results, performances and league position improves

Crazy prices to be honest Annis. Kids should have the freedom to sit where they want to without being penalised and paying more

Now is the time for the Club to act in order to avoid embarrassing crowds next season. The huge size of our stadium and the and the fact that our fan base seems to be deserting us in droves now means that we have the scope to come up with initiatives to give thousands of tickets away to school kids every home game. This is an obvious way to build up future support for our Club. Surely the Club is capable of co-ordinating with schools in Cardiff, the Valleys and further afield to ensure that our new stand is full for every game. We could provide items in order to generate colour and noise and ultimately ATMOSPHERE. Can our supporters groups help the Club to organise this? I would have thought so. Someone needs to pick this idea up and run with it. :bluescarf:

Its all about the money. I'll stump up tomorrow if I could pay full price Ninian and £69 for my daughter......

£150 or U-21 's for the Canton is about right.

On the football front anything could happen, good or bad !

So how do you explain people who've got st's and arnt turning up it's not so much about the money to most people. It's about winning games and playing well, we win games people start turning up that is the formula.

Spot on there Nubbsy! The club already has the money off the fans this year so why have they stopped coming???

1. Bad football
2. Bad feeling
3. Feeling the club doesn't care
4. Manager seems destined to leave
5. It isn't fun!!

Kids for a pound on selected matches and offers at the food stands would encourage family men to bring the kids knowing it's not a major investment.

Filling Tan's back pocket is bound to rankle with may. I don't want to fund his next cup of coffee, let alone feed his ego.

I believe the children are the future.
Treat them well and let them lead the way.
Show them all the beauty we posses onside.
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier, let the childrens laughter remind us how we used to be

I tried it for one game, not for me and also my children nor I dont like sitting behind the goal for home games.
Carl brought his daughter and himself over to join us because his daughter did not like the atmosphere in the Canton Stand.
