Interesting that the commentator praised Cardiff for their passing game and stated that Slade and City supporters should
be looking forward to next season as the team, on their performance at Portman Rd, will definitely be promotion
contenders

Sounds good to me and Slade had Leyton orient playing good football so maybe Slade having the summer window and then have his own team will do the world of good. :thumbright:

We only went to 3-1 because they were working so hard to get back from 2-1 and I completely agree that the difference between 2-1 and 3-1 is pretty much nothing (still no points) it was worth risking that to try and get a point out of it

that second ipswich goal though... phhhwooaarr

Great strike but how many is that outside box the opposition have scored against us? Largely from our mistakes I may add! Sort that out will be OK next season as it as cost us several games this season.

Totally agree! Annis, you can't be accused of being blinkered and you had a pleasant surprise with Witts. I have to say, some of the stick he has taken recently was a bit over the top by some. He has been a Bluebird for years and his loyalty and commitment are not in question for me.

2-1 was something worth fighting against but the last goal just flattered them and a little harsh on us.

The main thing is the spirit, especially against Ipswich, real contenders for play offs.

John,
I am one of those John who has been critical of Whitts, but to be fair to him in his last 2 games he has been at his best :thumbright:

Yes if the spirit is there, that is a great start for next season :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:
