Steve Zodiak wrote:I don't believe you can put poor season ticket sales down to one factor. Many things have caused this, such as the chaos experienced as a result of Tan changing to red, and eventually back to blue, the appointment of a manager that a lot of fans see as a backward step, arranging for some of our better players to be loaned out or released permanently, as well being served up some of the worst football we have seen in a long time at this club.
The problems starts at the top, and work their way down. It takes a while for a business to earn the goodwill and respect of it's customers (which according to Tan is what we are), but that can all be destroyed almost instantly if you treat your customers with contempt.

We are five places higher in the league under Slade than we were when he took charge. I have hopes we could fight for a play-off place next season.

I can only think of one player I am sad about leaving and that's Daehli (and Hudson but that was before Slade and cost cutting) but I understand why we let him go. Virtually all the other players I am glad have gone.

Just when Tan is putting some of the mistakes right, such as the colour and the overspending the fans give up. Where's the fight?

A jack once said to me 'that you lot love a demonstration!' and to be honest he is right, at the first opportunity we are there marching, protesting and demonstrating.

If I was working for the club I would be on a marketing campaign like never before and would turn the fans previous demonstrations on its head and use slogans to fire the passion up.

Instead of ' bluebirds for life ', it should be ' time for bluebirds to unite '.

Another would be ' NOWBlue, NOWRenew '.

Help create a ' Sea of Blue ' with a season ticket.

I think the club should call out ALL of us who protested, chanted, made noises and put it back to the fans, the club should say 'we listened, now support'.

It is not a dig at anyone who created the slogans but the club should box clever in my opinion and use it to its advantage, whether it would be popular is another thing but it is an idea.

I agree with this, the club should sell itself much more than it does.

There are probably many reasons for the poor st sales etc,for me it's the stadium and it's lack of any atmosphere,I think city fans rather away days because at least for the most part we get behind the team and make a go of it,at home it's dull and lifeless.how to get the buzz back at home I don't know but you hex be to look at a team like say crystal palace and the phenomenal home support they get as a case in point.

Many of the people I work with are not renewing as they say the football is so boring to watch and the quality of players being loaned out isn't exactly enticing them to renew. Many have said how can the club justify the prices if all they are doing is getting rid of any quality we have.
I have renewed but can see their point

I honestly believe the ticket pricing needs to be looked-at by the club Darran

Selhurst Park is a proper football stadium, they are reaping the benefits of a traditional football stadium that generates a cracking atmosphere in Premier League, or Championship level

Down the ticket office today,to buy my Ipswich away tickets :thumbright:

Season ticket sales are still poor and most of the staff looked bored stiff.

Have you still to buy your Season Tickets?

Can anything change your mind to buy it?

Why did over 16,000 renew for this season?

We now have Our BLUE back and a fairly Good badge :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

We have not been relegated,we are still a Championship club for next season. :thumbright:

Prices have not increased for everyone. :thumbright:

Even results have improved :thumbright:

Ive bought mine and my families in March :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

I know you are disappointed, Annis, but I think you must accept some of the blame for this. Who kept banging on about a broken club and who suggested that those supporters not clamouring for a return to blue were not of any significance. You reap what you sow.

I've renewed but tbh this season I've watched some of the worst football i've ever seen from a Cardiff side. We've had sides that weren't good enough before but we've alwayd had a reasonable strikeforce and some fight and passion in the side giving us a chance.

The football served up this year by Ole and now by Slade is clueless and embarrassing. If it don't improve next year I 'm off too. Let's be honest we've not had a good footballing side since Jones went. Shame about his personality and his inability to get over the finishing line, but i'd rather watch his brand of football any day.

I've renewed because we have improved, but let's face it except for Birmingham (second half) and Leeds we haven't really deserved many of the results we've had recently, we've been overrun and clueless for large parts of games.

Rol on next season and a good start or get rid of Slade!
