I appreciate none of them have fulfilled their potential entirely but I think with better players around them and a more settled squad you have a promotion-chasing spine right there.

Unfortunately, I don't think we will keep them and would not be surprised to see all three leave. Is Tan plotting the fall of the club by dismantling the entire squad or is this genuinely a financial restructuring to secure the future of the club? I'm not sure. I hope it's the latter. However, surely the best chance of securing the future of the club is keeping us as a competitive Championship club at the very least and holding on to those three players is key to that. Much more valuable than any transfer fees they might attract.

Correct Steve, they and Fabio are our strong backbone, no ambition,no future.
Keep selling and bringing in Lower division players and it will def be relegation.

annis wait until start next season before being all doom and gloom! Never know what's around corner? Bournemouth brentford norwhich and more have been successful using lower league players! Never know slade might not be here next season!

Allan, as long as a tan and Slade are here,I honestly can not see us being successful.

Also,I agree in bringing some lower division players, but not a team full, which I see happening.

just think its to early to judge next season when no idea who will be here! Not bothered if tan is here but have major doubts around slade! Clubs i mentioned all had progessive management slade is anything but that?

Good news if true.
Although fees these days are rarely clear cut. The inflated figures probably included at least an element of promotion bonus
Probably also appearance and maybe even sell on clauses.

I know that the full backs have not exactly helped, but would either be really missed? Personally, I would prefer a fit-again Turner to either. We all know his shortcomings, but as has already been said, he is an excellent centre half at Championship level. Be better still if we got Hudson back!

Bruno been "ok" this season?? Ok??? :o

Hudson loves the club, but to be accused by the club of scoring an intentional own goal puts an end to that ever happening?

I was at Molineux, and no way was that intentional. Hudson came over to us afterwards and held his hands up. Apologised, not that he had to. These things happen. We had been under huge pressure from Wolves all game. Kenwynne did have one good chance saved, late on, but that was all.

I've only heard these rumours about it being deliberate on here. Who, exactly, is supposed to have said it was deliberate? Can someone name names?

Me too, he wouldn't be able to do that again if he tried. Would take him back straight away

as for the op. obviously its good news if we spend less than the widely reported 9m on the pair of them. Whatever we paid for Morrison was too bloody much though

He cost very little, a good player at a young age, one of very few players to make positive impact on our season in the premiership. I assume sold for a profit but if not our money back. All we needed was a manager who knew how to use him.

and by the looks of things hes still looking for a manager who knows how to use him.

over-rated

Give him a chance, he has only played 2 games and been out injured. I doubt we will see the best of him for a few years yet but I still think he will end up making a very good career for himself.

has he been injured? played for Norway the other day....
