Without question. I agree completely.

With nothing to spend he's obviously a different manager clearly and that's what he had at Wigan and what he would get here now.

That's not true is it! How can you explain Malky's achievements in his first season for us?

Malky is a broken man at the moment who's unable to fully concentrate on being a manager. The investigation needs to be concluded first before Malky manages again, but I wonder if Malky will ever be the same manager anymore after what's happened.

...and he has no one to blame but himself.

Of course, we've only had the black Fraizer Campbell and black Steven Caulker sticking up for him plus the Asian Kim Bo-Kyung signing for him again!

They represent all of their respective communities do they? :laughing5: :laughing5: :laughing5:

No, they represent players who have played for Malky, so they would know what Malky's like more than any other person from their respective communities. I will stick to the facts about these players who got to know Malky very well sticking up for him. You stick to your speculative, manipulative Tan drivel. :thumbright:

I'm not surprised after his dire performance as a Manager for Wigan. :old:

A lot of the time, management is about being in the right place at the right time with the right group of players. We've all seen managers having a good run at a club, but moving to another one where everything goes pear shaped. Same with players, see them perform week in week out at a club, and then move and become poor players overnight (Torres for one). If Malky returned, there wouldn't be any guarantees that he wouldn't take us straight down any more than he would have us fighting for promotion. This is a different club to the one he came to a few years back.

Out of his depth without a rich owner bankrolling high wages (first season), high wages and transfer fees (second season) and wasting our money on shit (third season).

Lost the players, fans and board at Wigan. Fans thought he was shit pretty early.

Dont rate him one bit we played some shit football under him I rather dave Jones back.

Perhaps it's old ground but when people attack Malky's record at City saying he only succeeded because he spent the cash , remember 1) he only had 7 pros on the books the summer he took over from DJ yet got us up in two seasons as well as a a Wembley final 2) he promoted the City to the top flight - in my 38 years following CCFC no- one else has come close. Money does not guarantee success but Malky performed and if he was still at City we'd still be watching prem football ! :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

With RS and MM it isn't one or the other.

Feel a bit sorry for MM at present. Thought Wigan would have stuck with him till end of season ie after playing 2 of their relegation rivals. That said, thewere dreadful when they played us at Wigan - almost no attacking threat. Also Never that keen on his style of play. BUT HE WOULD BE a better bet than RS. If RS is given time next year he will have us in the relegation zone. Although he would then get sacked before Christmas 2015 it might be too late to save us from Div one.
The truth is I never rated RS and still dont. Also I dont would not want MM back.( In any case we all know theres not a snowballs chance in hell of that happening. ). Its sad but I hope we finish poorly so that Tan will act to get rid of RS.

With RS and Mm its a case of neither thanks. BUT WHO IS OUT THERE!!

Don't know we would have stayed up and the amount of players we had when he took over gets lower every time there's a thread about Malky. It wasn't 7 and out of the players he was left he had Marshall, Hudson and Whittingham. Three of our best players the year after.

Also had Darcy Blake, keinan, Mcnaughton, naylor, Parkin so theres 8 right away.

Wigan can confirm they have parted company with Malky Mackay.

Certainly not me but we still need to get rid of the tw*t who is masquerading as our manager!

If Wigan have any common sense they will get themselves a manager that knows Division One.

Horses for courses and all that. If we're not careful they may come in for Slade. He's brilliant in Division One.

I'm shit at subliminal messaging. So please Wigan take Slade back where he belongs.

Malky Mackay? Don't be so stupid. Russell Slade may not be an ideal manager but at the moment Malky is a no-no for any club

Why did malkys texts come to light in first place, investigation into the finances of our transfers going into premier league ( apparently cash under table ) and what came to light a couple of weeks ago £12 mil loss in the richest league in the world. So to put it blunt he robbed us blind and some of you would want him back. You're having a laugh.

Our most successful manager and I would have him back in a shot. Ironically he works better with a small budget than a big one anyway.

Former Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay is sacked by doomed Wigan Athletic after Derby County defeat

The man who led the Bluebirds to the 'Promised Land' of the Premier League has now been sacked twice in 15 months

Former Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay has been sacked by Championship strugglers Wigan Athletic.

The man who led the Bluebirds to the Championship title two years ago has parted company with the Latics today, after the club slipped eight points adrift of safety.

Wigan were beaten 2-0 by Derby, leaving them facing the prospect of dropping down into League One barely two years after they were in the top flight and won the FA Cup.

And in a short statement on their official website, the club confirmed they had removed Mackay from his post just five months after his controversial hiring.
Mackay who was sacked by the Bluebirds after Christmas in 2013 amid the 'textgate' scandal that also involved his head of recruitment Iain Moody, had previously been backed by owner Dave Whelan.

But pa dreadful run of form and the owner stepping down from day-to-day running of the club last month meant Mackay's days at the DW Stadium have looked numbered for some time.

After enjoying the adulation of the fans in Cardiff, his entire time at Wigan has been difficult for the man who infamously fell out with Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan amid a bitter racism row that led the him to apologise in May 2014.
An FA investigation into Mackay's alleged misconduct at Cardiff is still currently ongoing and findings are not expected until the end of the season after the Bluebirds reportedly handed over 'significant new information' at the start of last month.

Tan has revealed he is also considering asking for a legal judicial review, or going to the European Court for Sports Arbitration, if Mackay is not charged by the FA.

Mackay has been unable to transform Latics’ fortunes on the pitch this season after taking just 19 points from the possible 72 on offer and he leaves the DW Stadium without a home victory during his five-month stint.

Amazingly yes, slide on occasion will try and win games and have as many as four players in attacking positions. Malky you'd be lucky to get two. Given similar budget and remit as Slade, Malky gets a club relegated, Slade gets mid table.

Still good to see that's the only point of contention in what I said. Malky loved the red, white manager.

FFS MALKY IN ONE GAME WITH WIGAN PLAYED NO RECOGNISED STRIKERS IN A GAME! his record per game is worse than their last manager!!

On what do you base that bullshit?

Watford he had a small budget he was mid table. Sean Dyche took over when he left and did far better. He came to us with a reasonable transfer pot and large wage budget and got us to the playoffs then took us up with a massive budget both transfers and wages. In the premiership he spent 5th most and spent it mostly on shit.

He can't be trusted with money.

I am totally fed up of watching crap football and that's what we have had from Slade Ole AND Malky. Anyone who thinks Malky is the best manager we ever had are entirely delusional and show a lack of respect to the likes of Eddie May. Just give me a manager who can play entertaining football. There are too may on here who think being in the Premiership is the be all and end all!

Malky Mackay is without question a much better manager than Slade.

Re: " MALKY MACKAY TONIGHT IS "

IMO he shouldn't have jumped into another managers job so soon. Probably would have been better off keeping his head down and his mouth shut for a season or so, let everything blow over, take a break from it all and then maybe look for a managers gig abroad to start off before taking another job over here. This sacking could well have finnished him for good. I think malky has been poorly advised since all the text stuff came out, from his interviews on sky, to taking the Wigan job
