Four wins in last seventeen games is crap as far as I am concerned, and no point in telling me a lot of the other games were draws, if we drew every game next season and finished undefeated, we would probably go down with only 46 points.
I am sure we will get the usual Slade fans on here soon blaming the ref, or bad luck for today, but these are the same fans who reckoned we were nailed on certainties for promotion this year, Doyle was going to be our saviour, and Slade will rebuild and take us up next season.
He is here because he has a lot of experience with lower league players, and that's where most of our recruits will come from for next seasons campaign. Success next season will be avoiding relegation, and anyone who thinks this club will be challenging for promotion next season needs a reality check. Plenty of us said at the start of this season that we were a mid table side, and we may not even be that good next time around.
Steve,I have said many results have improved, which they had,but the football continued to be dire, plus I've said I 100% did not want Slade here next season.

I spoke to 3 Leyton Orient players today at my local gym, where they train occasionally, not one had a good word to say about him. All thought he was out of his depth at League 1 level. None of them had any respect for him, as he had never played the game. They are shocked that he was appointed at a big club like Cardiff![]()

If he was out of his depth in league 1 how come he has won manager of the year twice at two different clubs on tight budgets? and got Leyton orient to a penalty kick away from the championship but he is out of his depth in the championship though.

I'm amazed that Slade has got off so lightly to be honest.
Results like Brentford away and Reading where we have been comprehensively outplayed but somehow managed to get a result have papered over some massive cracks in the team.
I cannot believe that the clown will be in charge next season and if, as seems likely, we struggle early next season, the calls for Slade's head will get louder and louder from the few of us left in the stadium.

I know we both have the same opinion of Slade, and my comments weren't aimed at you, neither of us think he is up to the job.

Not proud but cannot stomach watching such dross & a team directed by a manager who is continually clueless in his thinking.
We know that Whittingham, Gunnarson and Noone will start and we also know that normally means we don't win the midfield battle.
Most knew prior to the Jan window we needed new blood particularly in the middle of the park. Slade brought in O'keefe and gave him a game and a half and he obviously doesn't rate Adeyemi as he has barely had a look in since Slade arrived.
The fact he keeps picking his 3 favourites when we are safe to me indicates he has no future plans for Adeyemi or O'keefe, what does that tell you about a manager who brought one of those players to the club at a time of need??

Annis, if he stays, I'm really worried for us, having spoke to those 3 players today, I was shocked at how they had no respect for him as a manager. There is no way in hell that such a manager can win anything

I'm just relaying what 3 of his former players told me this morninghe was almost sacked on 3 occasions as well but held on. If you want to argue the guys case then fine, I'm just telling you what those who worked under him told me. I have never rated Slade from day 1, yet having seen what he was asked to do, I.e cut the squad and consolidate I had a little respect and faith in him, having spoke to the players today, I'm back to my original assumption, that Slade will not get us anywhere near promotion.
