So basically they are saying Monk was misquoted......perhaps the media twisting things.

Also if Rhyl decided to boo Aaron Ramsey it would also be noted, doesn't mean mainly Rhyl support Wales.

This silly point scoring needs to stop, and it seems its only one team that is so adamant in doing it. We are the ones holding Wales back currently by actively trying to split the fanbase, not the ones supporting them.

Don't be a muppet all your life Roathy. If we want to be pedantic we could bring up the booing of Joe ledley in games down the liberty for Wales. Not point scoring, but it's done and dusted now. He has my backing as a Wales player, the same goes for the other 10 who wear the jersey.

Shut the f**k up Gary, everyone knows it's just banter, I sing the "he's not even Welsh" song at derby games but I'm still happy that he's the Wales captain. :thumbright:

There was a thread on this board just the other day regarding Williams and it was nice to see that he has gained the respect of the majority on here when he pulls on a Wales shirt.

Spot on mate, why is he dragging this shit up when we are finally doing something good on the international stage, ^^^ this exactly

I don't think we have had the pleasure of talking before in order for you to make a deduction regarding my changing. However, there are no riddles there. I made the point that we, as a club, are intent on point scoring when it comes to the national side and it has been evident even before the match started - and is continuing even now.

Someone suggested that the booing of the Welsh captain, shows that its mostly Cardiff fans that "support" Wales. Ive put emphasis on the word "support" because booing the nations captain during a game is not supporting at all. Feel free to tackle what ive said any time now.

What? I just explained that Christine. Are you reading these posts or just intent on being silly?

Suggesting the booing of Wales Captain means that its mostly Cardiff fans who follow Wales is shameless point scoring. Cutting down flags of rivals is also point scoring. Point scoring threads have popped up since before kick off and continue even now. This is doing more to hold wales back and certainly not support them. All basic stuff.

Obviously it's just a coincidence that WOL have published 3 articles this week regarding Swansea V Cardiff on varying topics , who's the biggest , who's the best and now this about the current Captain of Wales .Its bad enough when fans shit stir but when a media outlet decides to stir things up then what next

Actually, it isn't, but you'd need an 'open' mind able to take in the facts rather than the hype in order to see that!

The reality of your club is that they have done exceptionally well and can be considered in the 'Wimbledon' category of clubs that have done exceptionally well and punched well above their weight; particularly after taking the 'easy way out' after coming close to the wall. You have Huw Jenkins to thank for that and I am the first to appreciate what the guy has done for his club

Cardiff, however, we on the brink (within hours) of extinction and a number of people (including Ridsdale) managed to find the monies to keep them afloat...just! What happened after that was that Tan came in, ploughed LOTS of money into the club (to ensure Cardiff didn't take the 'Swansea' route of letting their creditors down) and slowly built a team with the much-aligned Malky MacKay that eventually took us to the Premier League. Had we stayed there, a lot of the crap that is being talked about this season would not have occurred, such is the fickleness of Cardiff fans

Your fans are no better (and in most cases are a lot worse), so if you want to talk about delusional fans (I'm not sure what your term 'elusional' meant? :? ) then you just watch your own rugby-based clientele (they are certainly not football fans ;) ) when the going starts to get tough down at The Library and you will see that they are far far more fickle than anything we have!
