Russell Slade has now won 3 consecutive away games :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

At home Slade has only won one in his last 9 league games.

Is the football improving? Yes

Are you starting to believe in Slade? Yes

Can Slade succeed ? Yes

Are you still 100% against Slade? No

Do you want Slade here next season? Yes

HONEST ANSWER PLEASE? :thumbright: :thumbright:

That was easy Annis!

I believed from the start Slade more than deserves a chance in the Championship. Not many managers can take a team assembled with 30 free transfers to within a penalty shootout of reaching the Championship. Our performances are improving, our football is more pleasing on the eye, our team has more grit and passion and I think Slade deserves a fair crack next season with his own squad. He obviously isn't the perfect manager, but we're Cardiff City and Slade showed at Leyton Orient he can work with a limited budget and improve a club, which is exactly what we need at the moment.

Well get battered on Tuesday and everyone will hate him again.

He could go unbeaten for the next couple of games but will always be in a crisis if he losses. They don't like him simple as that. I'd like to think he will be given a chance but the boo section will win.

Sorry I just can't take to Slade. He is out of his depth. I believe the only reason we have picked up is down to Trollepe. I may be wrong but TBH I would prefer it if Trollepe was given the nod.

I've been saying since day one the guy needs a fair crack and hadn't really been given that of yet

Most on his back since day 1

I know he rambles a lot of bollocks which is spot on

We all know he has failins every manager that's come here has failings but it's all about expectation start of the season expectations were high and rightly so only lost 3 of our first team and reinvested a significant amount of that on a mass of players but like someone else pointed out we looked clueless under solskjaer a team so out of sync it was hard to believe they were professional footballers

At least right now we once again have a group that seems to want to give their all for the club, if they are doing that and playing for the manager then I won't ask no more of them

Would be nice to see some more attractive football and I'm genuinely interest to see who goes this summer and who stays

I'd say jones, marshall, noone manga and Fabio would probably be on that list and maybe one or two more and I'm also interested to see who comes in as we know they'll be cheaper players for sure

I think slade identified issues we had in January ie on the wings so the young everton lads have been decent enough signings harris also coming into the fold and the likes of ralls although with ralls I feel the fact he's being used like a utility player could be detrimental to his development long term

If he can identify other problems and address them then he may just be able to build a play off challenging side next season

Obviously taking into account those that may leave and who replaces them I feel that would a realistic shout next season if we keep those 5 and add more you'd have to argue that top 6 should be a definate goal

Like someone else said expectation in line with the structure of the club

I'm inclined to believe Slade is out of his depth here.

However I will go with that or not once he has his own squad and backroom staff.

I believe he deserves a chance because for a start I feel we improved under him compared to what Ole was doing. Fair enough things went backward but I feel that was down to the revolving exit door of our squad. So I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Once things have settled down and he has the tools for the job then I will start to judge.

Three away wins, yes. Convincing wins, no. As much as results are improving away as of late, Slade has had enough time and he certainly hasn't delivered. The quality of football is not good enough. Slade is a nice guy but unfortunately is not the right man to take Cardiff City back up to the Premier League.

I'm just glad I can recognise and be proud of the team I love once again.

First person to put forward a realistic alternative. Everyone else is just kidding themselves someone else of any superior quality in terms of managerial ability is going to come in. We must accept that if Slade is to be replaced it will be a massive gamble on a rather inexperienced manager at this level.

I dont see us going up or down now if im honest, I think it would be an even bigger gamble going into next season with Slade as manager. He doesnt seem to like many of the players he signed in January so god knows what we would end up with after a summer of "rebuidling".

I find myself agreeing with both of you. Slade is not the long-term answer. If Trollope is the difference then why not let him take the reins? The players seem to respond to him and at least there's some hwyl now.

Two years ago it seemed as if the world was at the feet of the club. There was such positivity and aspirations were high. The effect of having Capital City status looked destined to make Cardiff an attractive prospect for any player or manager. If Tan's money had been spent wisely on solid players, it could have been so different.

At least BLUE has been returned!! :bluescarf:

Unfortunately, Malky blew that when found to be out of his depth in the Premier League.

It's wonderful wanting Slade out but who's coming in to work under Tan and turn things around with limited funds on a modest managers salary?

That's one of the biggest problem we face. Who would take the job knowing they will have little money to spend and tan and fans who were a broken club
