I don't see any other clubs with foreign owners having things from their culture put on the clubs crest. Man City are owned by Arabs, do they have a picture of a woman being stoned to death on their badge ? No

Real Madrid, a predominantly Catholic city, have removed the Christian Cross from their logo so not to offend the Musilim community following their sponsorship deal with a UAE bank.
Unfortunately, football is ruled by money so there is no protection over culture.

If this was all about Tan's ego, we would still be playing in red with this horrendous beer mat badge. Tan has gone back on his ridiculous rebrand and giving us a new badge with the Bluebird as the main, prominent, dominant symbol. We can't ask for any more.

I will forever hate Tan for the rebrand, but those kicking up a fuss over the oriental dragon are being very unreasonable imo. We are back in blue and it looks like the Bluebird will be back as our main emblem. What more do you all want?

blueminati wrote:I'd rather an oriental dragon than FIRE AND PASSION. The bluebird represents us, the main focal point. The oriental dragon represents Tan and his heritage. The both of them on the badge together represent the coming together of both elements, which is what our club is, it is exactly that now. Fire and Passion was just cringeworthy - it was a soundbite that had more place on a Harry Potter house motif than any respected football club. I'll be more annoyed by Fire & Passion remaining on the badge if it is still there than the dragon.

So if we have a badge with a prominent blue bird and a small dragon Welsh or not, that is all we want isn't it.
If we are so pro Welsh why make a fuss about our kit colours ?
Some of us are never pleased anything to get at Tan.
Blue kit and a blue bird badge HAPPY DAYS and hopefully looking forward not back.
