Looks good so far. No hint of a red border as some have suggested. The rumours about a Malaysian dragon abounded last time the badge was changed. I don't buy it personally.

Annoying that the badge is being shown a small section at a time. Why not just make a big statement? Clubs have done this with new kits in the past, but this is a bit more important than just the new strip for next season.

Get on with it!!

Wow! Only just read what Tan said about the oriental dragon. He really has no understanding of Welsh culture does he? The dragon he is talking about is probably more serpent-like. What the hell does that have to do with Cardiff???

Apparently it is "similar to one outside Cardiff city hall"

On the Cardiff Coat of Arms? If it's that 1 then I am fine with that as that is a Welsh dragon , a Malaysian dragon is more like a serpent which I wont be happy with

that was just a quote so don't hold me to it, but I wouldn't mind that at all either. I think until we all see it everybody's making a big deal out of nothing. The badge will be changed again in a few years anyway

This is the dragon outside Cardiff City Hall that is supposedly going to be on the badge. I wouldn't mind this to be honest, it's still the Welsh dragon after all. I just hope it isn't very dominant on the badge.

If it;s like that great. I can see the oriental kind of styling to it and it's been outside cardiff city hall for years so nobody could say tan was walking all over our heritage.

Yeah exactly. This time last year I could only dream of what we have now in terms of our identity. :bluescarf:

I don't often get to games just due to being totally skint, but I made sure I was down for the Fulham game. Stunning atmosphere and nice to get a win too. The colours are the important thing. Club colours rarely change (especially after one hundred years) but badges go through revamps maybe once possibly twice per decade. It's not new.

People say what's wrong with the old badge... But then, what was wrong with the one before that. And before that etc etc.

I.think people now.are just trying to find something to moan about.

I agree. Badges change at every single club in the UK. That's why I had no problem buying the blue away shirts during the rebrand period whilst everyone labelled me as a hypocrite.

Fair comment, but having a little red dragon on a blue shirt is hardly going to set the Asian shirt market on fire.
This is just VT being a little boy again and looking for a small compromise to avoid what he perceives as a personal defeat.

The real money in football is TV money. Having a good team will attract the Asian market not a little red dragon.

The blue colour they are using seems a nice tone.

Please don't moan about the bloody dragon. We've got better things to worry about

Based on the chaos our club is run in, does anybody actually expect this new badge launch to go smoothly?

The decision makers at the club, that will sanction this new logo, are also the same idiots that sanctioned the appointment of OGS and now Uncle Fester. The same ones that employ an illegal immigrant painter as a player recruitment specialist. The same ones that release good players who are not given an opportunity, and the same ones that are responsible for the rebrand and complete lack of respect for our club and its fan base.

I expect nothing more that further chaos from this bunch of retards.... They are clueless and the boss of these clowns is the biggest idiot of the lot and a vendictive prick to go with it. I wouldn't be shocked to see the Asian dragon arse f*cking the bluebird on the new logo. Just as I wouldn't be shocked to see us back in red next season with the reason from tan being " you fans told me you would come back and buy season tickets if I changed back to blue, you didn't buy in the volumes promised so I'm going red again"

I don't like him, his mother, his red kit or his f*cking dragon.

A thoroughly depressed bluebird.
