However kennedy is ours now

You're right, I'm so pleased he is not a loan player and that will help him for sure. Being a loan plater must be rubbish.

I just hate boring football. I love to see wingers strut their stuff. So perhaps I'm being a bit biased. I like Deilhi, but I like all wide players. They excite me, but sometimes they are utter dross. When they are utter dross I don't give them too much of a hard time unlike others. But that's just me.. I like to be entertained and this young man entertained me the other night. I was not going to go on Tuesday, just leave my season ticket in the drawer and watch Eastender.. I am so pleased I went to the game.

Hope that Kennedy will be a great signing. Time will tell and the jury is out. BUT
Daehli was a class above our other players and not playing him and then selling him was utter stupidity!

Im a Hibs season ticket holder and watch them every week. Harris was loaned out because Heffernan wouldn't go to Dundee because he was on mega money at HIbs and we needed Boyle from Dundee to cover Malonga up top because he had gone to African cup of nations (Heff not good enough). Loan for Harris was decided so we could still get Boyle because Harris had literally no confidence this year after his bad leg injury last year & fans were getting on his back, No doubt about the boys talent though so not surprised he is playing in the SPL. Stanton is better as a CM so not really a winger. You are right that the formation was changed but Kennedy was on a 6 month loan (http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/s ... -1-3503732) and got sent back in Jan so did get cut short. We were using him as a Sub for the most part when formation was changed but was dissapointing after a good start. Im sure if he was making a big enough impact we would have kept him.

Hibs defence was helped by the formation change but mainly with the arrival of Fontaine who has been excellent. It was the Midfield we were having issues with as not really creating many chances to score.

I just dont think that Kennedy can be compared to Mats after one game, especially as I've seen the lad play in person a number of times and even when we were playing with wingers he wasnt cutting it. Admittedly formation change didnt help him but in my opinion after seeing him I dont think he's all that good.

All the best to the lad though, he could develop into a quality player and as a Cardiff fan untimatley I hope he does.

In your opinion he's not that good? Did you see the game on Tuesday? In my opinion he is very good, albiet it just after watching him once. An Everton friend of mine thinks he's very good after watchin him play u21 football. His loan was window to window, not six months, contracted till the 5th Jan. IMO all young football players should stay well away from the scottish league, absolute rubbish. Enjoy your season ticket.

Scottish leauge is rubbish! Have got to agree with you on that point  quality is poor especially below the SPL. In fact the SPL isnt that great either only a few teams would do ok in the championship rest are L1/L2 standard. When I moved up here I missed going to the football every week so started going with the Mrs old man to the Hibs.

Didnt see Kennedy play on Tuesday but sounds like he had a good game but in the long run i'm not convinced by him just based on what I've seen. Will be intresting to see how he gets on.

All the best.

kennedy did last night :bluescarf:

What about that little turn and through ball to jones against Fulham? That's called end product. Although toobloo most are annoyed to see daehli go because of his tremendous potential at 19 years of age. If you couldn't see that your clueless

well done nubsy you found one piece of end product that dealhi provided the whole time he was here three cheers for nubsy
kennedy has as much potential as dealhi
but showed in one game imo (all be it a clueless one) that he will be an adequate replacement for dealhi and no doubt less expence :bluescarf:

Not denying kennedy had a good game but let's give him time it's a bit of a cardiff thing to overhype players After 90 mins of football. I'm not arguing about our views on daehli because they obv differ but To compare him to daehli this early is just silly

Funnily enough that's the only worthwhile contribution I can recall him making. Vastly overrated in my book.

If I'm honest I think Kennedy lacks natural pace to make it sadly but good for what we need he will do well for us.

Daehli has what it takes to make it to the top and will do well.

Daelhi is the man that makes norway tick his talent is off the scale just needs to be used right.
we could probably make messi look average with some of our tactics

Going to Hibs Dumbarton today. Hopefully we can go up in the playoff as the jambos have already won it.

what I actually said was and still believe kennedy did / showed more in his one game than deilhi did with us
deilhi showed no end product unlike kennedy :bluescarf:

Kennedy looks great very promising. May turn out to be slades best buy. But you are being very unfair to daehli. He showed great ability last season and that was in the premier league. Have a bone to pick with this thing about end product that gets repeated constantly by some posters. While its true that daehli can definetly improve his end product. It's a little weird how he can play in a team where none of the midfielders bar whitts have any end product and constantly get singled out for this.
Re Kennedy its worth mentioning that the guy has not scored more than one goal in his entire professional career. Despite playing on a less competetive stage like the Scottish league and league 1.
So unless he finds form in this respect, I can see the same people who hype him attacking him for lack of end product if the kid doesn't produce instantly. Just like they did with daehli.

Everyone loved Malone on his debut, he's been slagged off ever since

Kennedy's had a very promising debut but comparing him to Daehli after one game is just ridiculous

Well he had another very good game
Fans saying he should not of been taken off as he was our best player ???hmmmm :bluescarf:

And just thinking about his debut at Bolton where he had a ten minute cameo and managed to be the fans choice as man of the match.

Not bad for ten minutes off the bench.

And have people forgotten the equaliser against West Brom in injury time, if that is not end product then what is :laughing6:

But some people tend to forget those things Nubbsy and I think they have an agenda just to disagree

If I am not mistaken daehli had an assist last time we played huddersfield.
I like Kennedy a lot, excited to see him develop.
Its just ridiculous to claim he has more end product, um where did trobloo see all those assists and goals? Very weird thing to say
