Blackburn have failed to win their last 8 away matches in Championship.

I feel pretty sad saying this as I have always backed City at home, however I can see Blackburn thumping us 0-3.

After their FA Cup win over Stoke a few ex Cardiff players wanting to impress I can't see us getting anything on Tuesday.

I hope I am wrong!

Cardiff have not won in five and have lost three of those.

The Bluebirds are six points clear of the drop zone and are relying on their home form to keep them up.

Blackburn beat Stoke in the FA Cup in midweek and may now put the majority of their focus on reaching Wembley as their playoff push has stuttered since Christmas.

Rovers have won just three times on the road all season long.

' Injury News '

Russell Slade
We have one or two doubts.

A couple of players picked up minor injuries in training over the last few days, but overall we are okay.

Federico Macheda is making progress, while there is a slight injury problem over Fabio.

Fabio wins a header for Cardiff City
He picked up a calf injury in training. We may have to have go to the wire with that one.

There is nothing serious apart from long-term injuries. We trained Saturday and Sunday.

Russell Slade has switched his side around over the last few games following three consecutive losses and we expect him to stick to this for the Bluebirds midweek tie.

Monday 16th Feb 2015

Our chosen XI certainly have a lot of Championship experience, appearing in over 1,500 games and scoring 148 goals and assisting 132 during those matches.

Kenwyne Jones has done well in front of goal for the Bluebirds, netting 13 times in all competitions included two goals in the last six league games.

He is also the highest scorer in the last 20 Championship games for Cardiff, with 11 of his tally coming in the league this season.

Peter Whittingham (5) and Sean Morrison (4) have also contributed to the Welsh side’s league campaign this term, with the latter scoring the only goal against Fulham in the Bluebirds last win.

Whittingham has also once previously against Blackburn, netting during a 3-0 home win back in April 2013.

Although they are facing a strong Blackburn side, the Bluebirds are likely to find themselves netting this week with any of these players a good bet to get on the score sheet on Tuesday evening.

Rovers beat Premier League side Stoke on Saturday afternoon, and will be wanting to take that confidence to the Cardiff City Stadium this week.

We expect Gary Bowyer to make some changes from that side to bring in other regular first team players, although some are likely to keep their places.

However, they will be without midfielder Jason Lowe who has a recurring foot injury that is keeping him on the sidelines for the next few weeks.

Our chosen XI have appeared in the Championship nearly 1,820 times, scoring 151 goals and assisting 126 during that period.

Jordan Rhodes was brilliant for Rovers last season and has been a consistent performer again this year, and will be looking to add to his 11 goals in the league so far this term.

He is currently the joint highest scorer in the last 20 Championship games for Blackburn, with Rudy Gestede also matching him in the highest scorer stakes.

However, he has been partnered by Chris Brown for the last few games and we expect them to do so again this week, although the former Sunderland striker is yet to net for Rovers this season.

Tom Cairney, Craig Conway and Alex Baptiste have also contributed with a couple of goals this season and any of these players could well find the net at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Was confident until I seen that midfield. We'll get over run and Blackburn can score goals. All over by half time and Slade sacked in the morning.
