Richie Morgan?? Led us for half a season and took us from near the bottom of the table to a final 9th place in the old Division 2 (now Championship) which was our highest League placing between 1969 and the arrival of a certain Dave Jones

Malky?? Certainly had his faults, but a poor manager?? I think not, even if he did embarrass himself and the club with his text antics

Malky in my opinion is in our top 3 of all time, the Success he gave us, is way ahead of any other manager and that is a fact

I'm concerned about the mental age of some of our fans, I really am.

Anyone that has voted Malky Mackay as our worst manager shouldn't be allowed access to the internet without the supervision of their carer in case you dribble over your keyboard or type complete bollocks.

Malky Mackay achieved what is regarded in WORLD football as one of the most difficult things to do - promotion from the championship into the PL. There are no ifs/buts/howevers that anyone can attached to that achievement. He joined us with what? .. 6 or 7 players, built a team and a team ethic (neither of which we have had since the day he left the club by the way) and took us to a cup final and the championship title, which we walked in all honesty with promotion secured by end of March / start of April.

Whether you like him or loathe him, his achievements listed above are achievements that we will not get repeated at this club anytime soon that's for certain.

Did he spend money? Yes he did. Does spending money guarantee you success? No. How much have Man Utd spent since Ferguson has left? 200million? And have they improved as a team? Nope. They are the worse Man Utd team for years. Have Southampton spent the same amounts as united? Nope, nowhere near, but they are performing at a much better standard that anyone has expected.

MM is probably my number 1 with Eddie, Eddie, Eddie May number 2 and Frankie Burrows as my number 3.

where do you start? slade is having to get results with a lower calibre of players than solskjaer but is doing roughly the same in terms of points per game. so how is slade a worse manager than solskjaer?

i suppose that just comes down to snobbery and the fact that solskjaer had a big reputation as a player. solskjaer took a team that would probably have stayed up down, and had a horrendous start to his championship campaign. most of his buys were atrocious and wasted so much money. he was tactically awful. and he was paid multi millions.

For me the worst manager is the person who has damaged the club the most and for me that's malky.

Slade is a terrible terrible manager but he isn't bad on purpose he just doesn't have it.
