Only 50% of Cardiff fans say they are renewing season ticket

If the team start to show some spirit and a bit of fight, the atmosphere will improve slowly, and more fans will renew.

I think a lot of fans are pissed off not only with the lack of atmosphere, poor style of play, but also the lack of commitment from most of the players that have been here for a while.

Cardiff fans will forgive mistakes and lack of ability, but they won't stand and watch players not giving 100%, and getting stuck in !!!

Some of the new players are showing a bit of bollocks, so hopefully things will improve

I think timing is everything. Fans are fed up of having to renew 6 months in advance. I know it's the norm every year but people are asking why buy for next year when this one has still got 3 months to go. Just my thoughts.

I don't think that you're going to get one. They told me, in the ticket office, that they have not done a mail shot this year.

It will be the first season in 25 years I will not be having a season ticket .

Not because of poor football but because of times and days of games .

This season alone I have had to miss 5 home games due to being on weekdays
I also will probably have to miss tomorrow and definatly next Tuesday . Bournemouth in March is also a Tuesday night .
These changes make it better and cheaper to just pay on the day . I know a few people like this who work away during the week .

Tomorrow is a perfect example , Brighton fans have to travel a 450 mile round trip on a freezing tueday night when both clubs have a weekend off this weekend . A lot of Their fans will miss a big game they would normally attend and the same for ours .
Why the game couldn't be moved to Saturday which everybody I'm sure would prefer baffles me .

Done 4 years in the family stand then this season in 116, in the splash zone !!!!!

Having watched city from either the bob bank or the grandstand I disliked sitting behind the goal. I am planning to sit further back but the prices for U16's in zone 3 or 2 if I go upstairs are extremely off putting. We need a family section, an adult only section in the ninian as well as a standing tolerated section.

With the massive reduction in season tickets surely the club could advise that 117 will be standing, 116 adult only and 112 as family.

That's a bit stupid as the only adverts for the season ticket is on the Official site, not many floating fans check the official site I'd imagine , surely would be better to advertise as much as possible , sending a mail shot to everyone on the database would get a few thousand more renewing

Well said, I am more optimistic of late back in blue hew badge on the horizon and young players who are hungry and actually want to play for us !!

Me and 3 others will be renewing. Just with so many not renewing we haven't decided to keep the same seats or to move seats.

Had nothing through the post with details of renewing. Amateurish of the club in my eyes. And if we are relegated surely season ticket prices should be reviewed

It's quite simple If the Club want the atmosphere to improve to make our Stadium a home fortress either create a standing singing section in Block 117 Ninian Stand or switch the Canton with the Grange. I can see this happening. This will get a lot more fans to renew.

I often refer to "paying supporters" in my posts and when all is said and done (with a few notable exceptions) come next season they will be (as always) the only ones that truly count!

I'm coming out of university without the guarantee of an instant job, so I may have to halt the ST purchase and wait until the second half of the season.

If you renew while your at Uni, your still a student so get the parents to pay for it lol
