How good is the current squad as we speak?.
Average mid table is what it is. So that is the kind of results we should expect.
How do we have this average squad?.
Tan. Not slade. slade is working with an average squad.

Yes, I think you will find that L1 attendances will be little more than the 4100 or so we had v Colchester a few weeks ago.

Lets get real and forget about Dave Jones gor Chrissake! He will offer us nothing! We're in the shit because of the owner and no one else. He probably had some weird dream and selected Slade on that basis abd had some crazy idea thst shipping out our best players ( not that we had many) would be a great idea! Let's be honest it sucks! We have been set back light years. Its not a different manager that's gonna save us, its a miracle!

Tan certainly deserves a large portion of criticism but Slade is solely responsible for the clueless, gutless, one dimensional, outdated bollocks being produced on the pitch at the moment.
However, as Slade is Tan's own appointment, I suppose you're right - everything that is going wrong at the moment directly or indirectly lands at his door.

Slade out.
Jones in.

I'd take Phil Neal now.

Absolutely! Was thinking this at 70 minutes
He is clueless and kidding himself. City were never in it. Moreover he clearly had no idea what to do at 0 2. MaClaren was making changes and his team were winning! Margetson the goalkeeping coach had more dynamism and input on strategy than Slade or Young.
Does anyone see this team winning one game from now until season end?

Honestly believe avoid relegation this season will be job well done

Although I would welcome DJ back, I really feel we need a fresh approach and get a manager in that can sort out the players we got here, I think that manager would be Neil Warnock, a no nonsense type of manager that would kick some ass's into gear IMO. I would then get Bellamy as his number two. What have we got to lose, if this carries on then I predict we will go down anyway. It's a very sad state of affairs I'm afraid to say but I think we are now reaping what Tan has sown

Personally I woukd take DJ over Warnock if given a choice Steve.

If Dave Jones came back Annis would start a campaign to get him out immediately

No point in changing the manager at this time. Let him sink or swim. If we get relegated, then so be it. It's probably easier to start rebuilding from scratch next season from League 1 anyway. And he might even surprise us!
In any case, DJ is NOT the answer.

I would rather try and save the season than just watch us drop down with no fight.
Slade is drowning.

I have to totally agree with you slade is out of his depth and we are in a relagation battle as we are so poor and player are not interested,,, We need a change of front man , manager asap before its too late,, I fear the worse........
it hurts to see our club in such a mess, and tan needs to act to bring in a new professional experienced set up

I would take Dave Jones over Slade in an instant - Slade is way out of his depth!
Sun Feb 01, 2015 7:33 am
Warnock please
Sun Feb 01, 2015 9:27 am
I don't see any value in bringing back moderately successful ex managers. The club needs a fresh start. Tan needs to go before any manager has a chance of building something here. Tan OUT, then the next owner bring in someone like Hasslebaink if he is still doing well at Burton

Bring back Malky ,at least he knew how to draw games
