He'll get a much better reception if he brings his Mum
Fri Jan 23, 2015 11:45 am
its just an ego trip again, and i hope the fans don't fall for his antics and give him what he wants which is adulation for something which should never have had to happen anyway (returning to blue).
personally i would either boo or completely ignore him and concentrate on the football.

Would I cheer him? Why would I? For allowing us to play in our own colour? The ego- maniacal prick will no doubt expect rose petals to be laid out for him to walk on and us sing his name for changing back to blue, but that just says it all really doesn't it.

Why would anyone applaud him or boo him? He made us red, he made a mistake and put us back to blue. Nothing to make him a hero, but nothing to boo him about now.
The best thing we could do is just ignore Tan and not mention him at all, I think the lack of talk about him will hurt him more than anything

I've forgive him, I don't respect him has he shouldn't have done what he done in the 1st place, but i won't boo him, neither will i chant his name. Some people might not be as nice as me though.
Same.

I agree with the guy who suggested a fresh start, let's show him some respect and I hope he brings his mum we can chant her name ( if we could pronounce it )

after he has shown scant regard to the fans for almost 2.5 years?
we are supposed to just completely forget that and show him respect, just as its been announced he is slashing the budget at the club as the price for going back to blue?
i hope, unlike you, that the majority of the fans can see through his cynical ploys.

Totally agree...a time to try and build bridges on both sides, we should show that bygones can be bygones and we need to move on

Im a bit stuck on this 1. I would like to see him wear a blue top maybe that would show a bit more acceptability of the back to blue with him. I would want to clap him has someone posted let bygones be bygones etc but think alot will boo and show disrespect

If he gets a good reception our fans will be an embarrestment and be laughed at by every other football clubs fans.

Look it's quite simple. Tan threw money at us and we are now back to square one. So he wants to build the club from scratch and to make the Club self sufficient. So all our players who are on good money are being sold. He has also got a lower league manager on modest wages because Tan wishes to do things his way including team matters. To do the above he needs bums on seats to make us self sufficient. So he didn't have a choice but to turn us back to blue. Nothing to do with his Mum, and certainly not to bring harmony to the Club or because he is a nice man now. It's purely a business decision. So I will not clap him that is for sure. And the bad news is Tan thinks he can run the playing side or heavely influence it, And he has got Slade as his whipping boy. There to take the flak so to speak. Would Slade of been good enough on his own ? We will never find out because his arse is Tans.
Good Day Chiefs and don't clap the @&!£t

I don't think booing is the answer, just give him some respect at least. Not suggesting he is given a heroes welcome but likewise I think we should all rise above it and leave him to watch the game (in blue hopefully)
Fri Jan 23, 2015 8:06 pm
I will only respect him if he sacks Slade and clear all depts at the club.

It was definetly a business decision to turn us back to blue.
I wont boo him, hating the manager, owner or certain players takes all the attention away from supporting the team

Give me a reason why I should show respect? That should work both ways which by f**k hasn't happened.
