Until we become a stable club as in certain players have a " f**k off hands off not for sale at any price " which at the moment we are not I'm afraid it's going to get a lot worse

How far do you believe this problem will take us Allan?

Relegation this season?

I'm pembroke bluebird mate not pembroke Allan (no relation) Carl I think we will avoid relegation and rebuild next season I'm so happy we have returned to blue :bluescarf: premiership football can wait

Mmmmm only one of me! :laughing6: it will go as far as tan wants but hopefully wecwill have more efficient set up financially and player wise, as for who's going/ coming tan is like lots of owners now? they choose who goes up to manager to have case for keeping them its same thing for bringing in player's manager says who he wants owner says yes no? Nothing unique in this system,.

I have never known our possession stats to be as poor as they are at the moment. We are shit at home and away.
You can't win games without retaining the ball. I can appreciate different tactics or playing to your strengths as route one football can work, however our version of this type of football is just really poor. I thought our 'style' of football under Malky was bad, but Slade is a whole new level of how not to play the beautiful game.

As many others have suggested, I think he's out of his depth. Very concerned he's either let go or won't play our flair players as they are the only buggers who can pass the fecking ball. If the comments from Guerra, Daehli and Burgstaller are true, that the players begged to be given a chance and wanted to play and yet they were all told they would not be considered, then that really does worry me. Not only is it incredibly poor man management, but also must destroy team moral.
Strange how Daehli and Morrison have gone off to play in better leagues? One would question if these managerial decisions were being influenced from above.

No matter what the conspiracy theory, league one here we come. Bonus that at least Slade knows this league. Not that he's ever seen promotion from it though....

Russell Slade has been officially in charge of Cardiff City as manager for sixteen games, the first eight games got us a decent return of sixteen points from a possible twenty four. The manager was talking about being in or around the play offs at Christmas time.

First Eight Games Under Slade - 16 points from a possible 24 :

Cardiff City 2 Nott's Forest 1
Cardiff City 3 Ipswich Town 1
Millwall 1 Cardiff City 0
Cardiff City 3 Leeds United 1
Bolton 3 Cardiff City 0
Birmingham 0 Cardiff City 0
Cardiff City 2 Reading 1
Watford 0 Cardiff City 1

The following eight games which started at the beginning of December has seen Cardiff City gain a paltry five points from a possible twenty four. The manager has stated publicly about the lack of atmosphere and the impact the rebrand was having on the team because of the atmosphere. Players have been shipped out for various reasons, fitness levels have been cited as another reason for our failings.

Second Eight Games Under Slade - 5 points from a possible 24 :

Cardiff City 0 Rotherham 0
Bournemouth 5 Cardiff City 3
Cardiff City 2 Brentford 3
Charlton 1 Cardiff City 1
Cardiff City 2 Watford 4
Cardiff City 1 Fulham 0
Norwich City 3 Cardiff City 2
Middlesbrough 2 Cardiff City 1

What is the problem ?

The players we had in the first eight games, the fitness levels, the atmosphere and other matters didn't seem to quite get in the way of us achieving a decent points return but the second eight have been nowhere near what the previous eight were, why?

Is it the players, the coaching, the tactics, the manager or something else ?

What do you think the answer is to why there is such a difference in results the longer the season is going on under Russell Slade?

The managers the problem, a very bad poor mans Tony Pullis............

I believe the problem is due to

1. the midfield
2. which is due to the tactics
3. which is due to the manager
4. which is due to the bloke who employed him

and after that there is his mother ! :)

We were pretty poor in some of the first 8 games, but probably everyone knows we only play one way now and they find it a doddle...hence so many 3 nils by half time.

Tan said he was let down by Maljky and Olle in the transfers he made it no secret and he brought Slade to sort things out that means reduce the wages and get rid of players and I am sure Tan had a list , Guerra and Carla by looks were top of the list and any money offered for players let them go. Get players in on championship wages. I am not shocked by any of this and not to upset by the players going as they have not shown any commitment to us. it is nothing like when Earnshaw went Kav gabby and collins arron Ramsay for peanuts etc . I dont know if it will work but Slade wont be gone yet until he has got rid of all on the list that Tan had

We haven't been the same since Pilkington got injured. Could he really have been that important to the team?
